The minimum number of states a candidate must score 25% of votes in to be declared a winner is 24.

The chances of Mr Atiku scoring 25% in 24 is very slim, almost zero, as I can't think of a single Southern state where ADC will secure 25% of the votes, now that Mr Obi has left the party.

As for NDC, in 2023, Mr Obi and Mr Kwankwaso only secured 25% of the votes in a combined total of 17 states. That means they need an additional 7 states. NDC may secure 25% in Lagos, but nowhere else in the South West, and the North East where ADC will likely dominate. So, the party face a very tall order to reach the required threshold in 24 States.

APC will gain 25% in more Southern States than it did last time, and will secure 25% in almost all North Central states, and in 2 or 3 North East and North West states.

APC is still in poll position for the coming elections. All each Southern APC Governor needs to do is ensure that ADC's doesn't win 25% of the votes in their state.
Is this an analysis or selfish wishes. It never crossed your mind that the Buhari factor is no more there as regards to the North West

This stats is for the wilfully blind obidients to see again have been screaming that PO won the last elections but was rigged out, essentially he didn't satisfy the basic constitutional requirements of 2/3 of 36 to win because of lack of spread, they won lagos but elections wasn't rigged but all the places Tinubu won elections were massively rigged while forgetting enugu state where PO won more than 98%
I know most leading parties rigged in where they had support. However, the most clear rigging was the voter suppresion of igbos and Niger Deltans in Lagos who were likely Obi voters and the result switching in Rivers. You can't argue the both of them. Then the rigging where LP had no agents which is their fault. Putting it all together, Obi may have had the highest votes but the 25% in 25 states is still yet to be seen. Kanwulia I'm still awaiting your response to this.

I agree with this analysis except you were silent on NDC and South South votes or assumed Peter ObΓ would hold his votes in the South South.

I genuinely don't see a Peter Obi ticket getting that 25% anywhere apart from Delta state this time round. I can't see him winning any South South state either.

Did you not read? The analysis is based on where candidates polled 25% of the votes. Not outright winners of the states.

Can the INEC just declare Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu without wasting our scarce resources on the election?

Tinubu will win the election.
2023 is not 2027 stop deluding yourself even if Tinubu manages to win by rigging it will be by very slim margin.
It's even surprisingly amusing to see that you of all persons is even supporting this failed administration even when you are coming here on nairaland wailing about hunger and hardship.

Re: Number Of States Where Leading Presidential Candidates Secured 25% Of Valid Vote by ElevationD: 10:16am On May 14
Now Obi has become a leading candidate. The man with no structure, no governor, no assembly member before March 2023.

Now they all beg to belong to Obi’s camp.
APC has sleepless nights over Obi.
ADC has sleepless nights over Obi.
It’s Obi here, Obi there.
Obi is termed the danger to democracy.
They tried to break up OBIDIENTS with their fake OBEDIENTS.
In 2023, it became Obidiently this, Obidiently that, as some APC leaders quickly tried to get Obidients to their sides to secure their seats.
Atiku is APC’s leading campaigner presently.
Amaechi is angry they could not use Obi.
Kenneth Okonkwo the wannabe is bitter.
Reno Omokri the chameleon pretends when he sees Obi physically, just like we witnessed at the airport a few days ago.
No one sleeps again over Obi matter.

The fear of Obi and Obidients about 2027, is the beginning of wisdom.

Fayose said β€œignore Obi at the risk of your peril”. Obi is the factor. If all the governors like, they can decamp to APC. When elections come, Obi will overwhelm them all.

Not at all. It's ethnic politics being played in the south east. It might also happen in 2027. It's well
it's still same same script in South East towards the 2027 election. They won't vote for others except their own which we have no issue with

Tinubu will surely witness a decline in performance due to his harsh economic reform.
Leave them. Let them be hallucinting. It will shock them. If Tinubu had done every well,it would have been a walkover. But now,he no sure for him at all and he knows thats why he was trying to stop the oppostion frm fielding candidates
