A serial party defector who made no remarkable impact in a relatively small state like Anambra during eight years in office now suddenly presents himself as a messianic figure capable of transforming a far more complex country like Nigeria within four years. A politician who could not stay committed to one party and lacks clear ideological direction is unlikely to remain faithful to his promises.
What we are witnessing is an attempt by disgruntled elements to rebrand a non-performer as a reformer, portray a hollow politician as a principled leader, and impose their minority and misguided views on the majority

One thing everyone should know is that 4 years wouldn't be enough for a sitting president to restructure a country like Nigeria..

We once believe in Goodluck Jonathan but he failed us be accepting to step down without completing and finishing what he started now look where we are today

And now Obi is here promising us he wants only 4 years to rebuild Nigeria but how can that be possible my fellow country people

I saw in a dream that God plans for Nigeria was for Obi to rule for 12 years straight without obstruction from any opposition because that's the only way Nigeria will be balanced in every sector

So please Obi if you know you're not ready to carry Nigeria to the next level please step aside now because once you become the president you much run 12 years sad
did he carry Anambra to the next level?

U people must think u are talking to kids

Obi is just desperate, there is no tangible improvement he can make in 4 years. He is just after the badge and loot the economy. No president has been able to solve Nigeria's perennial problems in 8 years, let alone 4 years
Are the problems man made or natural.
U are talking about looting.
Do u know Obi so much like that to the point of knowing that he is their just like other politicians.
Have u seen Obi records before?

A region that hasn't produced a head of government since Aguiyi Ironsi wants to do only 4 years? Unbelievable. This man has an hidden agenda and that alone is scarier than Tinubu completing his second term.
Obi can never be president.

Obi has made it clear that he is not too desperate to be a president, rather he is desperate to see a Nigeria that is working. He wants a Nigeria where an okada rider can become a senator as long as he has something upstairs. A Nigeria where public funds are not sent on personal luxuries.
He has demonstrated all before. Your president is the Lagos state landlord while Mr Peter Obi is a business man who just have one house in Onitsha. He rejected land gift and shunned pensions for past Governors. His record with World Bank and reforms educationally as a Governor has proven that he is the best man for the job.
Yet, he has been busy dishing out millions to support schools from his personal pocket.
Show me Tinubu charity gifts when he was not in power, but we saw bullion van during election going to his house.
Obi can never be president.
Stop hoping against hope.

You mean the same Peter Obi who diverted state funds into his family Hero beer business (company) in the name of buying shares which presently amounted to nothing, the same man who kept saving the same state funds into Fidelity bank where he was a director is the man you're claiming he wants "A NIGERIA WHERE PUBLIC FUNDS ARE NOT SENT TO ON PERSONAL LUXURIES" I can confirm to you that no matter what, you can never get to heaven. Hell fire is your final home for saying this in a public domain. Even you, is more desperate than Peter Obi himself who knows he is politically merrygorounding and parambolating. The same man who SWORE and even placed curse on himself never to leave APGA before he became governor, the same man who publicly promised nrver to leave PDP , the same man who recently left ADC after claiming he will never leave the party and the same Obi who complain that ADC is not a party to go with before heading to NDC.
PETER OBI can deny Jesus when it comes to politics but unfortunately his tactics can not work. He should not kill himself because many candidates from his states, region who are far better and trusted than him are already positioned for vice president come 2031 after Tinubu's seconds term. If he likes let him join APC he will not be given the ticket because he is a serial failure, liar and disappointment.

Igbos are not interested in the normal Nigerian regional presidency to loot.....to install their tribesmen in every position in government.....we need someone that will sincerely transform Nigeria with honest policies and projects that ordinary people can feel.
Every tribe, including igbos and yourbas are in the presidency to loot. You know that. That is what pisses me off about this tinubu government and the opposition.
What a Nigerian President needs to do to transform Nigeria and reposition Nigeria for greatness is not even up to 5 and they can all be implemented in 4 years.
Let's go

1.) Complete electoral reform to remove rigging and make it less than 10% so that any credible Nigerian can emerge elected leader without bowing down to political structures of criminality and political godfathers. With this alone, every elected political leader in Nigeria will start working hard to deliver on his or her campaign promises knowing that's the only sure-way to secure a second tenure and for his party to stand a chance in future elections. If Tinubu had done this, believe me, Nigeria would have entered a new phase but Tinubu is a very cunning, deceptive and corrupt man so he couldn't do what is right in our electoral reform act.
Define removing rigging, because what I have seen of you politicans of all stripes on this site is every election is rigged until my candidate wins.

Plus no president can remove rigging. Nigerians have to remove rigging...it is Nigerians that will do it.

Plus, you guys , and yes, you...many of you haven't learnt to lose gracefully. YES, that includes the tinubu supporters, before you call me government agent. Better sort that issue out.

Finally, the issue is our economy. You guys love sharing money, you don't want a real proper sane economy.

2.) Implement State Police fully without fear after No. 1 has been done.
Yes, until the tax bill to fund the police comes in at the state level...then you guys will lead Aba women's riot part 2, only it's nationwide.

NO state poilice until you guys, and yes all of you guys , are ready to pay the tax needed to fund it. I mean all of you regardless of political stripe.
3.) Reform our judiciary completely.....I wouldn't want to go into details here
In four years...plus it would take more than one president.

4.) Revamp our seaports......decentralize it and remove bottlenecks on our seaports.
LOL....are you serious. Obi has not said nothing about it.

5.) How do we change our nation's situation from consumption to production? I won't be detailing this here.
Because you don't like the answer. Most Nigerians do not want the above thing, and that includes a lot of Obi supporters. I have been blasting the need to transform our economy from consumption to production for ages, and all I get is abuse.
6.) Fight against corruption must be revisited.....won't reveal details too
\

The old slogan to deceive Nigerians...plus fighting against corruption is not just the work of some government agency. That is a mistake you nigerians make.

Saying the truth and keeping promises seem to scare some of you because you’re used to politicians who say one thing and do the opposite.

I can understand where you’re coming from, in a country where honesty and accountability in leadership have become rare, integrity now looks strange.

Peter Obi is simply reminding Nigerians that he is not desperate for power. Politics should not be a do or die affair, it should not be a grab it, snatch it, and run away with it affair. Leadership is about service, not conquest.

And yes, four years is enough to begin turning things around with purposeful leadership, discipline, and competence.

After all, if Tinubu’s administration could plunge the country deeper into debt, worsen inflation, increase hardship, weaken the naira, deepen insecurity, and leave Nigerians battling constant electricity issues within a short period, then meaningful recovery within four years is absolutely achievable with the right leadership and dedication.
Obi can only be president of an online country, biafra.

Obi is desperate leave all this funny talk of him be desperate to see Nigeria work. Even Tinubu that his destroying Nigeria did not go there for that purpose he also want to see Nigeria work same with Buhari. Those his line cannot work me. The opposition is gone because of him. He thinks he can do it alone. That's nonsense to me.

Not to talk of his supporters.
What have the kinsmen of Tinubu benefitted from his 3 years of presidency over other ethnic groups? What do they stand to gain if he runs another term aside from the bragging right of the president coming from their ethnic stock? Not ebery politician is a slave to power and money. Some have overcome that impulse.

We do not care about your perceived “hidden agenda”. However note that what you call “hidden agenda”, will make Nigeria a better place to live.

That hidden agenda will be far better than the open agenda that has inflicted deep unforgettable miserable psychological and economic hardships on Nigerians since 2015.

No sentiments .... Obi is confirming he is not ready to be President. The country is in a mess.... unstable on so many fronts ... no President can stabilize any one front in one term.... let alone stabilize the country . Economic stability .... with the staggering debts ...unable to generate funds to meet our own budget ... what miracle would he perform to stabilize this? ...stabilize the Naira? ... stabilize power supply? ... stabilize security? He should say how he will get it done. As an opposition leader what has he done to check Tinubu?... to prevent him from sailing us from the gutter and into the sewer? Too many of us go on sentiments and that's why politicians will continue to prosper and the masses suffer. Let me be clear..... it is not either or .... Obi or Tinubu. I believe anyone even considering giving Tinubu a second term needs a check up from the neck up .

It took thieefnnubu less than the time to finish his Presidential inauguration speech at eagle square to plunge millions of Nigerian households into extreme poverty, four years is more than enough for an objective technocrat like Obi to remove the shackles and slave chains before placing this country into the right trajectory. Come 2031 we will need an experienced administrator like Rabiu Kwankwaso to finish the job and place us in the right economic orbit. It will be like 2011 Nigeria when Obj left and Yar adua came on board.Nigeria was very sweet then...
Kindly explain just 2 things obi is coming to do differently.....is he bringing back subsidy,is he going to stop the naira float, how does he intend to run govt without borrowing, is he going to stop creation of state police? Kindly answer these first.

I support Tinubu yo win a second term so atleast his reforms can take root.
I also have one reservation about Obi, seeing Anambra, there was nothing spectacular he did at the time.

HOWEVER, OBI’s CLAIMS TO STABILIZING NIGERIA IN 4 YEARS MIGHT NOT BE WORNG. Why?
1. Igbos as a major tribe in Nigeria deserves a shot at presidency to ease the civil war injuries.
2. As an Igbo man, correcting the lopsided Nigerian structure that gives undue advantage to the North especially at the National Assembly and MDGs should be on his mind.
3. Igbos have been taunted with not really wanting a break from Nigeria. Well, OBI’s emergence should seal the decision on whether to secede or stay as OBI’s ascendancy becomes the easiest route to doing that, so those that feel Igbos are reason for Nigeria’s bad reputation can now have a stable Nigeria without Igbos.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Nigeria.
Bros, you wan put obi fir wahala, if he should come out and make any statement on those things you mentioned ,his ambition would be dead before the first ballot is cast.

Give us the achievements of Tinubu that qualifies him for second term. He made it clear that he should be voted out if he can't give us light in four years. Instead of building the economy, he is busy wasting the resources and yet keeps borrowing

Tinubu has converted many government properties and he is the landlord of Lagos.
When you people started passing these rumors, I see it as lack of understanding. Please show the link to the place where Obi diverted government fund.
Obi has been a businessman from secondary school. As a student in the UNN, he was into importation. He was already a billionaire before venturing into politics.

Where Tinubu was forced to forfeit the proceeds of narcotics by the USA government. Comparing Obi and Tinubu is like comparing Ngozi Okonjo Iweala and Aninii that was executed during Babangida regime.
