HOPE of a common MAN, TOKS not bad aswell.. i HAVE NEVER BOUGHT tear rubber.. You KNOW WHY? Its not that i CANT AFFORD ONE, But i cant AFFORD to LOSE just 2MINS after purchasing a CAR. so if its stolen u lose a lot even with COMPREHENSIVE INSSURANCE, only if you paid for GAP Options. now you see why?

I have noticed in Abuja that there is no more traffic like it used to be, seems so many cars are off the roads now, what a government ☹️ I wonder if they get a second term , how it is going to be for the masses. Zero welfare for the masses….. |

We should also put in context that the Chinese used cars are seen as a better option for many now, A 30m naira Chinese car would give you a luxury of a 70/80 million naira western car |

baconline:Car price was 1.2m. Let's forget about naira devaluation. How on earth does one use up to 2m to clear an old car. To clear a brand new one is something only the criminals in the name of political office holders can afford. It is that bad. From 4.5m to 4m is nothing. |

The data on Nigerian used cars clearly shows the prices are going up not down. Posts without factual data are merely opinion and pointless.

baconline:if it's the low patronage causing the lower price.tarrif for imported cars was reduced by 30/40% of recent, Tokunbo car that use to go for 7m before the policy should be going for 6m now.So dealer selling Nigeria used car for 4m before ordinarily should go down too because of same policy.Else I would prefer to look for extra cash to add to the 4m and pick Tokunbo than using 4M to buy Nigeria used car that will end up troubling me with mechanical repairs.so cars of 4m before should be going for 3.5m now |

GrammarNazi1:they are. Reason is most people prefer electric cars now and we have lots of them in Abuja and Lagos. Also , 2023 and above car brands consumes less energy and that is what people want. Toyota , Mercedes Honda and other car brands from 2010 and below are no longer selling |

Thewrath:it’s true bro. 2010 and below car brands are no longer selling. People prefer 2023 and above plus there are lots of electric cars now . With 3.5m you will get a neatly used Toyota Camry or corolla in abuja |

baconline:This is what I've noticed too. Cars that were selling for 8-10m are now going for 6m and below, I'm seeing cars of 2m that were priced at 5m just two years ago. There's no other better indicator of a tanked economy than the purchasing power of the middle class. |
