Car price was 1.2m. Let's forget about naira devaluation. How on earth does one use up to 2m to clear an old car. To clear a brand new one is something only the criminals in the name of political office holders can afford. It is that bad.

if it's the low patronage causing the lower price.tarrif for imported cars was reduced by 30/40% of recent, Tokunbo car that use to go for 7m before the policy should be going for 6m now.So dealer selling Nigeria used car for 4m before ordinarily should go down too because of same policy.Else I would prefer to look for extra cash to add to the 4m and pick Tokunbo than using 4M to buy Nigeria used car that will end up troubling me with mechanical repairs.so cars of 4m before should be going for 3.5m now

they are. Reason is most people prefer electric cars now and we have lots of them in Abuja and Lagos. Also , 2023 and above car brands consumes less energy and that is what people want. Toyota , Mercedes Honda and other car brands from 2010 and below are no longer selling

This is what I've noticed too. Cars that were selling for 8-10m are now going for 6m and below, I'm seeing cars of 2m that were priced at 5m just two years ago.

There's no other better indicator of a tanked economy than the purchasing power of the middle class.
