Go and read what I wrote again, I said the ban restricts anybody from the ban/paused countries from receiving immigration benefits until it’s lifted, and that’s the situation. Being able to summit your application is not an immigration benefit.

And I said people are still submitting and getting their work permits...a relative of mine just got his own. Is work permit not immigration benefit? What you can not be sure of is your green card and citizenship.

You got it all wrong; I said the person won’t be able to receive any immigration benefits until the ban is lifted because the cases won’t be adjudicated. Go read it again. Also, being able to submit an applicant ion is not an immigration benefit.

Do you really think they gathered 79k dollars in Nigeria? If they did, they wouldn't have left just as you yourself have concluded that will be illogical. The 79k is money they got through student loans over *There*. Not something they happened upon in Nigeria.

In fact, the loan isn't just granted to them in a lump sum. If they did, may wouldn't spend it on schooling rather, they'd establish a business. But because it's strictly accessible and disbursed through schooling and probably the only viable path to maintain a residency there, they go through schooling route with a loan.

So it's definitely not how you pictured it.

It seems you are not reading some of my response. Twice or thrice I told you that a relative of mine just got his work permit? Or is work permit not an immigration benefit? What is totally on pause is green card and citizenship. This is a repeat of my earlier comment.
