UNIBEN Student Allegedly Stripped N@ked and Forced to Twerk for Stealing Roommate’s Laptop

A disturbing incident has been reported at the University of Benin (University of Benin), where a female student was allegedly beaten and stripped by residents after she was accused of stealing her roommate’s laptop and selling it.

According to eyewitness accounts gathered from the scene, the controversy began when a student discovered a laptop believed to be her missing device in the possession of another student inside a lecture hall. During the confrontation, the student who had the laptop reportedly claimed that she bought it from another female student identified as Sophia, who is now being accused of the theft. This revelation quickly escalated the situation as the aggrieved roommate went to confront Sophia.

However, Sophia allegedly denied any knowledge of the transaction or the person who claimed to have bought the laptop. This denial created further tension, especially after the alleged buyer insisted that she had purchased the device from Sophia and even presented a transaction receipt said to contain identifying details.

Despite the evidence presented, Sophia reportedly continued to deny involvement, which angered the crowd that had gathered around the scene. The situation quickly escalated into chaos as some residents allegedly took the law into their own hands.

Eyewitnesses say the suspect was beaten by a mob before her clothes were torn off, leaving her exposed in public. The act reportedly caused confusion and shock among students who were present, with many attempting to record or intervene in the situation.

Security operatives and campus authorities were later alerted and reportedly intervened to restore order. The accused student was taken away from the scene for safety, while those involved in the confrontation were also questioned.
