Good day Mayorall Corporate Social Responsibility Team,

Thank you for this wonderful initiative aimed at supporting NGOs and empowering communities through technology. I recently founded the Human Empowerment and Neighbourhood Development Foundation (HEND Foundation), and this opportunity aligns strongly with our vision for youth empowerment and community development in Nigeria.

Our foundation is focused on empowering young Nigerians, especially youths from underserved and low-income communities, through digital education, innovation, skills acquisition, mentorship, and community development initiatives.

The laptops will play a major role in helping us achieve several key objectives, including:

1. Digital Skills Training
We are currently planning programs that will train youths in digital literacy, graphics design, web development, content creation, data analysis, AI tools, and remote-work skills. Many young Nigerians have the willingness to learn but lack access to computers. These laptops will serve as practical training tools during workshops and community learning sessions.

2. Youth Innovation & Entrepreneurship Support
We intend to support young entrepreneurs with basic digital resources to help them build CVs, business plans, online stores, presentations, and digital products. The laptops will help participants gain hands-on experience while learning how to build sustainable income opportunities.

3. Community ICT Learning Hub
One of our goals is to gradually establish a small community digital learning center where students, job seekers, and aspiring tech talents can gain access to computers and internet-enabled learning opportunities. These laptops will serve as foundational equipment for that vision.

4. Educational Support for Students
Many students in Nigeria struggle to complete assignments, research, or acquire computer knowledge due to lack of access to devices. The laptops will be used during educational outreach programs, training bootcamps, and mentorship sessions targeted at secondary school leavers and undergraduates.

5. Administrative and Outreach Operations
As a growing nonprofit organization, we also require digital tools for project coordination, volunteer management, proposal writing, impact reporting, awareness campaigns, and communication with stakeholders and beneficiaries.

Our mission is centered around helping communities discover that they are valuable, capable, and full of potential when given the right opportunities and tools.

One major thing I want to focus on is Prompt Engineering and AI tools but doing that on a phone is painstakingly difficult especially on an Android like mine which isn't of the highest quality. If I am chosen, I will be able to practice and hone my skills with tools like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude, and Canva. They will work better, faster and more efficiently on a laptop.

Not having a personal laptop makes it difficult to stay consistent with learning, practicing new skills, and exploring opportunities online. I rather use my data for more better things than social media but theabsence of a laptop has hindered me. Having one will give me the freedom to learn faster, stay focused, and become more productive.

As graduate of Statistics (2021/2022, UNICAL), this device will help me greatly in digitalizing my skill, hence ensuring effective growth in respect to my degree. I joined the SAED ICT training in NYSC camp but could not meet up with the Microsoft Excel training due to the absence of a PC. Getting one will put me back on track, not only for the Microsoft Excel, but also in Minitab, SPSS, and other Statistical packages in respect to my harnessing my digital skills.

Personally, this laptop will help me by giving me access to more learning resources and allowing me to work efficiently without depending on cyber cafes or borrowing devices. It will help me study better, and also apply for opportunities once my skills are sharpened to a good level.

I plan to use the laptop to learn about fixing CCTV, "machine learning" web designing and about OpenAi. Since Ai is the present and the future.

It will help me personally to gain enough knowledge and technical know how if I am able work abroad or here in Nigeria.

In 1947, the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was created.

The REAL reason it was created was because with the rise of nationalists like Kwame Nkrumah, Nnamdi Azikiwe, etc. around Africa and the rest of the world, the hand writing was on the wall for Western imperialists that their days were numbered in their colonies (however, the standard information out there is that it was created to checkmate communism). Yes, but that was for Russia and China.

But in Africa they had other goals. Their goal in Africa was to create post-colonial elites that would be used to maintain colonialism so that white people would continue to rule us by proxy using fellow Africans.

In 1950, the CIA sent an agent named Ulli Beier to Nigeria to begin the process of creating the new elites.

Beier arrived in Nigeria under the guise of being a cultural refugee running away from Europe, claiming to have found love in African culture and spirituality. Nigerians believed him and accepted him with open arms, but South West Nigeria was the epicenter of his activities.

Once he was accepted into African society, he started by subverting African languages. He did that by convincing the young post-colonial writers of that time, like Chinua Achebe, Wole Soyinka, Christopher Okigbo, and Ezekiel Mphahlele, to choose to write in European language instead of in African language.

Their target was that if literature could be done in European languages in Africa, then European languages will automatically also be the language of education in schools around Africa. This will enable them grade, vet and groom the post colonial leaders.

How Ulli Beier came to Nigeria and what he did here is exactly how the beautiful female secret service agent sent to spy on Iran by Mossad destabilized the security of top Iranian government officials. It's exactly the same script! The only difference is that Beier's attack was on African culture.

Beier penetrated the Yoruba elite class, even Obas, took a chieftaincy title, founded two magazines, changed literature from the Yoruba language to the English language, masked his name, and published psychological attacks on African culture using Yoruba names.

That's what is called an attack on culture. And it was done by a white man.

This information has been kept secret such that Africans have little or no knowledge about it but the outcome is the reason we're still entangled with the West after many years of the so called independence.

I was telling this story in a book when my laptop crashed so I stopped. The CIA at work?

If I get your laptop, I'll use it to finish the book. I'll give it out for free as I always do all my books. This is not a condition for finishing the book cause I'll do that anyway but it may have to wait a little.

First, I would like to thank
Mayorall for this kind gesture which transcend CRS to being an act of brother keeping. Furthermore, if I am offered this prize, it will be a dream come true for me and a desire fulfilled; not to mention that it will be my very first laptop.

Personally, I desire to enrol for a video editing class; master the art and become self employed. This opportunity is presenting itself through the magnanimity of SiwaakTech which is offering free video editing training tagged 'Video Rumble'. I feel strongly that attending this training with a laptop will put me in a vantage position to effectively learn video editing, set up a video editing shop, and become financially self-reliant.

I also plan to enrol for online digital marketing course. I have looked up the content of the course on Coursera and the cost involved which are both affordable and appealing to me considering the high demand for digital marketers in the country.

I thought I should let you know that I won't be able to thank you enough if I get this offer but will involve my neighborhood in the thanks giving service. However, if my expectation flips, I will still say thank you for the gesture even as I say thank you in advance, right now.

I have been struggling to buy laptop since when I was in university, that's like 10 years ago, then, new laptop was around 80k, but financial constraints was a very big problem for me.

I came from a family sponsored by a widow, it made 30 years this month that my Dad left the world, so, it's very hard for my mum to cater for 4 children alone, when I saw that she didn't have money for laptop then, that's why I forgot about asking her.


What i will use it for:
I suppose to have learnt different design of my field like Auto cad, Archi cad, stad pro, orion, Etab, Tekla structures, but when I didn't have the facility, I forfeited my dreams then . I am still willing to learn it if I have a means, because i really love civil Engineering, infact, if not because of sickness, i would have finished with First class. I can learn them within a year if I leave my " school teaching job" that I do.
So, it will be good to assist me quicken my design studies in structural engineering.


How it will affect me :
It will definitely affect me positively and make me a complete civil Engineer, I will be able to get projects worldwide, handle design, inspect structures etc.

I am currently an MBA student, and I use my laptop for assignments, research, presentations, online classes, and project work. Unfortunately, my previous laptop stopped working last week, and it has made things very difficult for me academically and professionally.

I also do remote support and online work, so having a working laptop is very important for me. Right now, doing everything from my phone is stressful and slow, especially when handling documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.

This laptop would finally let me launch that career. I’m also taking on some online courses and planning to learn domain flipping, which requires a proper screen.

The x360 functionality would be a massive plus for me. I plan to use the touchscreen and stylus support for UI/UX wireframing, and it will make managing spreadsheets and databases for my research a lot easier.

Right now, I am heavily limited because I have to do almost everything on a slow mobile device. Getting this laptop would genuinely change the trajectory of my professional and personal growth.

I'm Tonye001, been active on this site for years.

I've been interested in the tech industry for about 3 years now. Two things, however, have made my tech journey difficult.

Firstly, I'm a medical doctor with a very tight schedule. The times I'm free, my laptop makes it hard for me to explore the numerous free lectures/tutorials on YouTube.

The keys are bad, the battery barely lasts for 30 minutes. In the past 2 weeks, it stopped turning on entirely. One more, connecting to my phone hotspot is unusually hard, it sometimes disconnects on its own.

A new laptop is above my financial reach for now. I'll, therefore, be glad if this initiative benefits me.

Over the past few months, I have developed a strong interest in graphics designing, branding, photo editing, and other related digital skills. I have spent time learning through free tutorials on YouTube and other online platforms using my mobile phone, but the truth is that learning professionally and practicing effectively has become very difficult without a laptop.

Many of the software applications used in graphics design, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Figma, and video editing tools, work best on a computer. A laptop would give me the opportunity to learn properly, practice consistently, take online courses, improve my skills, and eventually start freelancing or working professionally to support myself and my family.

I am not asking because I want luxury or comfort. I am asking because I genuinely want an opportunity to grow, learn, and become productive. I believe digital skills can change lives, especially in today’s world where remote jobs and online opportunities are increasing every day.
