I asked y so much difference in price and he explained that the one he was using were government funded cng kit and tank. I even had to drop my nin. Abeg no vex. Na yesterday I even pick up my car. Let’s not ascribe to politics what should be ascribed to corporate greed. Otherwise one person go slap you, you go go beat another person. |

Nelochukwu:Of course the economy is worse, but it was not government policy that started the war in Iran which is what has spoilt the trade for everyone here. Look, the guys at Bolt have indices they operate by, that is how Estonia determines how well the business is doing and if the country manager is hitting his targets the main one of which is number of rides on the platform. He knows that if he increases the rate that number will drop. So he has decided his best course of action is to play kalo kalo with the lives of not just the drivers on his platform but also their families’. Let us call a spade a spade, this is not a political forum, we are all business people here. The platforms are the one to blame for the pricing on the platforms. I get that you may not be happy with the government, I’m not happy either. |

taxiappguy:But if u admit that raising fares will cause reduced trip demand, what and how should the ehailing coys operate without harming drivers, baring the harsh economic situation caused by govt which u are saying we shouldn't blame d govt for. |

| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nelochukwu: 9:02am On May 17 |
taxiappguy:Yes I'm not doubting all uve said... All I'm saying and anyone who's an active driver can attest to is that after subsidy announcement on dat day, fuel price went up and d war worsen it. Abi. Was d war first time of increment? Iz well |

| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Pearl1910: 9:13am On May 17 |
taxiappguy:Is there any upper lower class or middle class that doesn't know about Uber and Bolt? They have paid their dues in marketing already, people don't use it cos they can't afford it.. More advert will not bring more customers except they reduce the price more. That's why govt has to be blamed for not creating wealth that will improve earnings of the populace and make more people able to afford things. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by feran15(m): 9:43am On May 17 |
unless the marketing you're talking about is 20% promo for all their riders which means they're not making money, I'm not sure how else marketing will. there a too many drivers and I'm sure some regular people will join just to get to double their fuel money for their regular day to day taxiappguy: |
