This babe was there for me in times of difficulties, no nagging, obedient, respectful, good cook,wife material, she manage anything I give her and she support with what she as. i dont know the way you offered to pay, it wasnt intentional from her, i dey use one tiny car then and i left my wallet in the car so i told let me go back and take so i can pay she said i shouldnt worry her card is with her, she cleared our bill later realized she was far richer than me and my money dey learn for her side, infact then she just came back to nigeria.

Honestly, I really would not like to join the rest of today's generation to criticize marriage as a sweet union of people. Judging from what you wrote, everyone wants a similar story but the kind of broken people that are in the dating pool is seriously alarming.

We were talking generally that morning and I don't know when one of them said that he pitied young men who are bachelors in this age that we are, that to get a good woman to marry will be like a camel wanting to pass through the eye of the needle.

Honestly, I agree with him. I see young people around, men and women, and the future looks bland, looks bleak. I think parenting is to blame. No matter what the society chunks out, parents have a responsibility to nurture their own, societal vices regardless. You have no control over the society, but you can exert your energy over your own. May God help us.

There was nothing special about the way I offered to pay. The guy had his ego problem.
He visited me in my office and it coincided with my lunch break.He was my guest and I felt it was only normal that I paid.

I stayed jobless for six months after NYSC before getting only a Primary School teaching job.
I was so ashamed to tell her the truth - a campus big guy like me.
Eventually, I managed to tell her that I got a secondary school teaching job. She was cool with it. Later, I opened up that it was a Primary School teaching job, she was cool with it again. We attended same church where youths are prohibited from visiting opposite gender even if you guys are engaged.

I had a vehicular accident and broke my leg, I couldn't do anything by myself after the hospital treatments.

She left home to come stay with me for over 6 months that I took to heal the leg. Going to her work from my place and coming back to nurse me back to health despite knowing that the church will suspend both of us. She damned the consequences.

That is just one of the reasons.

Some battles against church rules are best fought when both couples are willing to damn the consequences.
