I am currently an ICT teacher in a private primary school in Ibadan. I have always needed a computer to enhance my classroom engagement with my pupils and also develop myself. I have made several attempt to online some skills on Google and even attempt the Google Get Certified Associate Cloud Engineer examination March this year but failed because I could not get enough time to practice at home. Computer is available for me to use at my work place but I need to practice more at home.

I have currently registered for another batch of get certified from Google and I hope to get a computer I can use most at home to practice.

These are what I hope to achieve with a personal computer

1. Google skills training
2. Microsoft learns
3. 3MTT Data visualization (already on the course)

I plan to use the laptop mainly to improve my cybersecurity skills and continue learning. I already have basic knowledge in the field, so having my own laptop will help me practice more often, take online courses, and work on projects without limitations.

I have been struggling to buy laptop since when I was in university, that's like 10 years ago, then, new laptop was around 80k, but financial constraints was a very big problem for me.

I came from a family sponsored by a widow, it made 30 years this month that my Dad left the world, so, it's very hard for my mum to cater for 4 children alone, when I saw that she didn't have money for laptop then, that's why I forgot about asking her.


What i will use it for:
I suppose to have learnt different design of my field like Auto cad, Archi cad, stad pro, orion, Etab, Tekla structures, but when I didn't have the facility, I forfeited my dreams then . I am still willing to learn it if I have a means, because i really love civil Engineering, infact, if not because of sickness, i would have finished with First class. I can learn them within a year if I leave my " school teaching job" that I do.
So, it will be good to assist me quicken my design studies in structural engineering.


How it will affect me :
It will definitely affect me positively and make me a complete civil Engineer, I will be able to get projects worldwide, handle design, inspect structures etc.


I will be forever grateful if I am considered and selected among the winners

Welcome development, hope I'll benefit
I've been a member on the platform over 10 years,
Getting a Laptop will help me in the following ways.
1. Boost productivity at my current job, at the office I use a desktop, this severely limits me during periods of high pressure work load as sometimes I have to go back the next day and continue, a laptop could be with me in the field and reports ready by close of the work day.

2. Im currently trying to open a farm for poultry, fish and snails, a laptop would greatly ease record keeping, expense tracking and profit/loss calculations

.3. I intend taking a course in front and back end development and coding, I already did a course in data analysis and graphic design, a laptop would greatly boost my skill level both on my current job and free lance potential

With these few points of mine I hope I've been able to convince you and not confuse you that I would be a strong candidate and choice for the laptop
