Re: Nigerian Prison Food Video Sparks Outrage by We4all: 8:02pm On May 17
Are they supposed to be feeding them fried rice and chicken? With tax payers money? If you don't like the food, then don't do the crime. Unless of course, you are innocent, then your case is special.

Are prisoners supposed to enjoy delicious and sumptuous meals?

Many of them in the prison don't even deserve to be breathing, going by the level of crime they committed.

Imagine a murderer being fed in the prison and you expect him to enjoy the meal. As how na undecided
Normal normal, any murderer, bandit, boko haram mamber, kidnapper, corrupt politicians etc should be killed instantly. No point feeding them with tax payers money.

I only sympathise with those who are in the prison for a crime they didn't commit.
Until you enter prison for a crime you didn't commit, talking is easy because its talking, are prisoners not humans who deserve to survive?

If only you know that only about 30% of the people in prison are convicted. Others are awaiting trial. Among the awaiting trial inmates are those young people the police indiscriminately pick from the roads, people arrested by KAI for crossing the roads, people arrested by politicians, etc

In Nigeria, you don't need to be commit a crime to see yourself in the prison; all it takes is for you to be in the wrong place at the wrong time or critique a politician or post a review about an obviously bad product

They are enjoying free food and free accommodation, I don't see any reason why they should be complaining.

This country's foundations is firmly rooted in wickedness and evil. To think that billions are allocated to the prison service and yet this is what they are fed with. Makes me remember the rubbish we were fed with during our nysc camp all those years ago. Billions budgeted yet they were serving us pitiable meals.
You just cannot understand this country. They will soon come for whoever exposed this mess.

Arguing with a typical obedient is usually a complete waste of time. The moment you ask for evidence, they react as though you drove a dagger straight through their chest. Ask this one to produce all the threads I supposedly featured in, and he will either start speaking in tongues or vanish entirely. Yet he somehow believes I appear in every thread except the one he imagined. Ironically, the same fellow spends every waking hour combing through threads from morning till the next morning, all for his miserable weekly 2k stipend.

Nigerian Prison Food Video Sparks Outrage

A viral video showing inmates in a Nigerian correctional facility sharing a small portion of watery beans has sparked debate over prison conditions and inmate welfare. In the clip, one inmate describes the meal as the only food available for the day.

The conversation intensified after another video surfaced of a 17-year-old detainee who has reportedly spent three years at Kirikiri Medium Facility following his arrest at age 14. His case has allegedly faced repeated adjournments due to judicial delays.

I'm curious to ask, how did someone make a video with a phone, when they're not suppose to use phones in prison.

You are a criminal enabler. People like you are the reason Nigeria is fast becoming a lawless country.

Do your findings, no sane country treats criminal activities, corruption and terrorism with kids gloves.

China is a case study.

Have you been rubbed before?

Have you been asked to surrender your hard earned belongings at gun point before.

Have you or your loved ones been kidnapped for Ransome before?

If your answers are no, I won't blame you for saying criminals deserve a better life.

I comment on whatever thread I choose and couldn’t care less who is offended by it. But going by the twisted, brain-dead logic of the average handle mob, you are supposed to be on every thread about powdered products in Asian countries.

Funny enough, it’s always the threads I don’t appear on that suddenly become a concern to these professional busybodies. Well, here’s a reality check, I visit Nairaland when I feel like it, not because I’m chasing some miserable 2k weekly handout like the online errand boys permanently camping in every thread.

If you hear the type of things that go on inside the prisons, you will be surprised. They do business in those prisons, they officials even organise conjugal for some of them. It was even said that some of the prisoners are released at night and giving guns to commit robberies at night and they will return before the next day
