GboyegaD:I own a private school. You can be arrested for administering paracetamol. Infact when health officials come for inspection and they check your first aid box, they don't expect to see any form of medication in it. They will tell you that you are operating a school not a clinic. And that should you have an issue, you should call the parents before even taking the child to the hospital. I have challenged this severally but this is how the government wants it. It is their policy. Only a concrete law from the legislature can change this. |

Mariangeles:Lol! When the people are poor, nobody thinks straight. If the boy came from a rich home. They would have taken him to hospital. Who would have taken care of the poor boys medical bills? |

While peer pressure is so real and livid, the best way to protect your kids is to make them read about lots of stuff outside their normal school books. There is something reading does to your brain that peer pressure cannot erase. When I entered school, primary to an extent, secondary and university, there was no vice I didn't know about. Even if I tried any, it didn't stick. |

kelechi50:Continue writing nonsense and allow your life and that of your family to be rotten. Don't take care of your future. Keep blaming politicians or supporting those who don't know your existence. Everywhere in the world, government only do little things. Your life, future, fortune all are in your hands. |

fyzaila:They will find other ways. Schools should be equipped to counsel students and teach them to search their own ways even as they come to school. I hope that singular near death experience will teach that young Man to stay far away from any drugs and any unknown substances.. |

Mariangeles:Who go pay kwanu. Assuming they could get the parents to answer call that would have been a different thing. Remember payment is both in cash, and in kind if anything happens to the boy |

All this evil started the day government gave orders that teachers are not allowed to discipline a child. The level of immorality is high because teachers are afraid of correcting the students because of the government and parents. The society can't grow when the law doesn't put strong punishment for offenders. The parents too are too busy to train their kids properly. Many of the parents take drugs in the presence of their children. Many use words that children don't supposed to hear freely at home.We parents should try and focus on building a decent home than a wealthy home. |

Just like my mother did to me and my siblings,I am extending the warm treatment to my kids. I search their school bags almost everyday when they are back from school and in the morning before going to school. Trust me,this is a very valid and important move.. you might be training your kids positively and well to the best of your ability, you still need to monitor them to eliminate peer Influence early on. It's like Cancer, once detected early, survival chances are high. My 2cents!! Titopeblog: |

autoez:It will be naive of you to think there's anything called "anonymous" when it comes to snitching on drorg dillers, that same agency will be the one to give them your house address and phone numbers, or any means to reach you after they have collected egunje. Wise up o.... Nigeria is more corrupt than you know. |

ukfootwear:My guy ss Students now are students by day...yahoo boys by rest of the day. They all have Facebook accounts for bombing in their spare time. Most of them have senior bros and sis who empower them with these tools and mindset. It's really eating slowly. I went for a pta meeting at my daughter's school after closing hours and I could spot some group of students in an empty class doing these classroom dance videos while recording or prolly live ...as a parent, honestly I don't know how to protect my kids once they are out of my sight. I dunno but solely depending on God and the love I show them |
