Starting this week on a great note. We just got on a call with a new client, a modeling agency brand, and we now have the opportunity to build their website.

I recently built a website for a construction company based in Lagos.

Just closed a new web development project with a client 🚀

This one is for a full-service legal firm — they handle things like business registration, compliance, contracts, disputes, and general legal advisory for individuals and businesses.

What I liked about them is how practical they are. No unnecessary grammar — just clear, professional work and helping clients actually solve problems.

For this project, we’re not just building a normal “fine-looking” website. The goal is to make it a proper working tool for their business.

The system will let them:

* Update their services themselves (no calling developer every time)
* Post legal content and insights
* Manage and respond to client inquiries properly
* Allow clients book appointments directly
* Accept payments for consultations
* Capture and manage leads
* See analytics and user behavior
* Be structured well for SEO

Basically, they’ll be in full control of their platform.

From my side, the focus is on:

* Proper security (since it involves sensitive legal data)
* Clean, scalable backend
* Good analytics setup
* SEO from the ground up
* Smooth and professional user experience

Because honestly, a serious law firm shouldn’t have a website that looks or works like an afterthought. It has to reflect trust and structure.

Good way to round off the week.

The website is now officially live. The client and their team were very happy with the final outcome and impressed with the overall delivery and functionality of the platform.

All features listed on the website are fully working, the medical data integration was successfully completed, and the platform looks great across devices as well.

What I shipped this week on the startup project I’m working on as an independent contractor 🚀

1. Auth flow (login, signup, sessions) done
2. Onboarding + user setup built
3. Dashboard connected to live data
4. Core APIs integrated
5. Fixed onboarding bugs + state issues
6. Added basic analytics tracking
7. Cleaned up dev/prod setup

Still building, but solid progress today.

The project was a huge success 🙌

They reached out today with a request to enhance the website I already built for them. They want to add a vacancy feature where open positions can be listed and applicants can apply directly through the site, including form submissions and CV uploads. They also confirmed payment has been made for this new feature, and we’ll be integrating it into the existing system to streamline their recruitment process. It took me hours of my weekend to map everything out and start implementing the updates, but I’m always available to make sure things are done properly and delivered on time.

Update on the project:

The client has officially reviewed and approved the design and was very pleased with how it turned out. We’re now moving into the development phase, where we’ll be bringing everything to life and turning the UI into a fully functional website.

It’s been a smooth process so far.
