pocohantas:Gbamsolutely, Oil dey your head These are the undoing of many men and women today. There is no perfect man or perfect woman out there. Aside from infidelity, abuse, failure to fulfil responsibilities, or maybe one party is involvement in criminal activities, I see no reason why a marriage should fall apart. Many marriages would last if couples learned understanding, communication, forgiveness, patience, and mutual respect. You may divorce one person because of a bad habit, only to discover that the next one you maeried has worse flaws. A happy home is built by two imperfect people willing to grow together, not by looking a perfect partner which doesn't exist anywhere. Even you and I reading this were not perfect when you first got married. We learned, adjusted, and grew with time. |

MorataFC:Well said, Morata. We are all here on the internet watching these things play out, yet people gamble their spouses. One time I was rooting for Tonto to pick herself back up. What happened? She landed into the arms of Kpokpogarri. What of Tiwa? Ended up with a sextape. Tuface moved to Natasha that wanted to burst his head in public. FE? Married his sidechick that refused to stop fcking around after being caught, forgiven and given a second chance. What did he say his first wife did wrong? Only thing I remember is he married her because of pregnancy and the whole marriage was a mismatch. Is this one matching now? Mine's boss at work has been married and divorced twice. He said it actually gets worse for the majority as you begin to remarry. I disagreed then, but I am beginning to agree looking at the data on ground. Except any form of abuse, I fail to see why couples cannot behave themselves and sort out issues. At least FE's ex-wives have the kids to use hold body. What does he have at 53? I don't blame him for crashing out. It is really painful. |

GloriousGbola:Obasa is done with Lagos politics for now, he is going to house reps in Abuja by 2027. He no get anything he Wan use Sanwoolu do again since he won't be the speaker by then. It's only if he was speaker he can call for investigation of Sanwoolu's administration and stink retirement up for Sanwoolu. Something tells me Desmond is eying that Lagos state house of assembly speakership seat, that's why he's refusing to step down. He has a chance as a 4th term house of assembly member. So He dey Para why his "people" Want him to miss out on that once in a lifetime opportunity |

MorataFC:Nobody betrayed him. Just like a good player in a Coker Secondary School, who now relocated to Ihiala Secondary School, and wants to automatically become Captain. Not like, he cannot be Captain, but there's nothing he has done to earn it. |

APC primaries dey always get more votes than the real election Na so Chris abi Andy Uba get 240,000 votes for primaries. On election day, e no get 20,000 How can a ward in Delta be producing 12,000 votes? ![]() |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 3:13pm On May 18 |
MorataFC:The points you listed in the bolded are actually more loaded than they seem. For example, let's look at failure to fulfil responsibilities : It can be financial in nature, sexual and even psychological in nature. A man may suddenly go broke and becomes unable to fulfil his financial responsibilities to his family. He may try his best but things end up not working out. There is no amount of communication he may apply, once the bills are not getting paid the woman may start looking for way out of the marriage. All those talks about patience, mutual respect, forgiveness etc will fly out of the window. Methinks all those "infidelity, abuse, failure to fulfil responsibilities" you listed as valid grounds for divorce are intertwined with "understanding, communication, forgiveness, patience, and mutual respect." which you expected partners should exhibit to have a long lasting union. They are not independent of each other. I don't know if I make sense sha. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 3:37pm On May 18 |
pocohantas:True this. After the loss of that first marriage, a person has fewer options, and compromises they normally won't have made they start making, not to mention persons willing to marry someone coming from a divorce would be coming with their own baggages. Would always advice holding on hard to that first marriage. There might be happily ever after stories dey abroad, but the ones I've seen here in Nigeria hardly end well...my uncle wey e first marriage pack up is currently on his third ![]() |

Theflint1:Yesterday after listening to the full VN from FE. I come pity am. He really tried to patch things up. Went to Chike. Called his wife's church mother to talk to her, yet she continued. Would FE of 15yrs ago take such nonsense? In his words, he told Chike she is his wife and they have kids. That he wants to raise the kids together with her. Don't be surprised he didn't do as much as she alleged, but she knows he is the one with a failed marriage already. Now he should explain 2 failed marriages. 😂😂😂 |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Melvyn11: 4:03pm On May 18 |
pocohantas:I will never understand men who claim to love their wives soo much yet they cheat constantly in their marriages. Like what exactly is the thought process of hurting the person you claim to love repeatedly. For her to say Bleep the marriage she must have endured a lot from Frank to even make that decision. |
