Happy for the three points💯⚽️ We need to do better with this style of hypertensive play, this should be our 11th one nil win this season The ultimatum given to Arteta is what he wants to give to Arsenal fans health by grinding out the win even with hypertensive play We need to do better Let’s go crown our efforts next week abeg |

Congratulations to Arsenal. These guys didn't have a plan. But what unsettled me was how fluid they moved further up the pitch like say nobody dey. Kai scare with that red card moment. Guy chooses the dumbest of times to be tackling. The one e suppose tackle for, he no go put body. Trossard trivela passes kon be like +2 for hin performance. 😂 Final whistle don blow We lead by 5points. Andoni Iraola, over to you or we do it our own way |

Funnily Burnley didn't have any shot on target in this match o, they didn't even force Raya to make one single shot. We played them from start to finish. But the near-success trauma of the past is what is making most fans online panic. For this side, na zero panic! 💯 |

mostob:Crystal Palace have a final to play 3 days after our match, so I don't expect them to field their best 11. Even if they do, our players are motivated to grind out a win against them. I've already made peace with the fact that all our opponents in the final leg of this league run want to be "that one team that stopped arsenal from winning the league ". I'm sure the players know this and that have alrwsdy built a mental amour against any tension that might come their way. I salute the team and Arteta! 🫡 |

Confirmed!! Pep is leaving. To be very honest, he might have denied us titles (due to our own slackness actually) but he has indirectly raised our standard. He gave us a push. He kept raising the bar and we kept chasing and fighting. Thank you Pep! |

daveP:I believe if Merino was available, all those matches we lost or draw while man city were slipping we would've gotten wins out of them courtesy Merino's clutch moments. He is the player I miss the most in this team followed by Timber. |

BlueRayDick:Exactly and that’s why one can’t blame the fans but for here too no shaking I told Roland some months ago when I posted a banter video that I just have this feeling the EPL is ours this season even with this akoba playing style |

This was a tense match I must confess but thank God we scale through. How I wish we can win the league tomorrow. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 10:37pm On May 18 |
Shegzdave:Not blaming the fans tho, I understand it's the near-success trauma of the previous years that is making fans fear for the worst. I have that strong feeling this is our year and these boys are not letting it slip after being presented multiple chances by providence to clinch it this season. If I see the players or managers mess up, I go talk am as I see am. Like this match, neither Arteta nor the players really did anything wrong to make the scores remain 1-0 till end of the match. They started the match with the right attitude, they were always on the front foot pushing attacks and had attempts upon attempts. We didn't play that lacklusture pattern of recycling the ball between the defenders and Rice for most part of the game. Trossard hit the bar, Eze hit the bar and we keep taking the game to Burnley. Our opponents literally played low block trying to contain us and push attack on counter. Ateta did all the right subs and even brought in Gyokeres to strengthen us upfront. It will be out of place for me to start cussing the players and Arteta because Burnley are also trying to get something out of the game (which is normal for any small team in their position) |

BlueRayDick:Im not his fan actually but i can't but admit there were moments that as i saw them, i wished Merino was in the line up. Na Timber i miss pass. |

My guy said Raya won't get 20th sheet cos City will slip to Bournemouth and we will win the league tomorrow and hence, Kepa will have to keep vs Palace so Raya is fit for PSG😂😂😂 I never thought a Gunner will reason like this but this still sweet😂😂😂😂 |

🚨🎙️Thierry Henry on the Lineup against Burnley and what Arteta should have done. 🗣️ “When you put players like Eze and Ødegaard in the same midfield, you are already saying you want to control the match with creativity and movement. So for me, it makes even less sense not to start Gyökeres. That is the type of game he lives for. Havertz gives you intelligence and balance, I understand that. But Gyökeres gives you fear factor. Defenders panic when he runs at them, and with Eze and Ødegaard creating chances behind him, Arsenal should have started with the striker who can punish teams early. Sometimes Arteta overthinks the simple decisions. For me, Arsenal missed a chance to make a real statement with that lineup. Eze and Ødegaard would have created enough opportunities for Gyökeres all game long. That front three could have terrified defenders from the first minute.” |

iamoyindamola:My thought exactly when I saw the lineup. We could have been 3 zero up in the first half. Nevertheless we got the required 3 points regardless of the lineup but the BP created towards the end no be small thing. I pray City drop points tonight. |

iamoyindamola:It all hypothesis from Henry, Eze did nothing all night atleast Ode get the ball moving but check it yesterday most of the team attacking moves in the 1st half comes off Saka and Kai movements or the later hold-up play... They are all crying about Kai not getting red and ignoring the stone-wall penalty and straight red card for denial of goal scoring opportunity that dubiously went against Saka last night... |
