The current one is a former ọlọpa who behaves like a school na scam agbero and political tout. I wonder if he is inspired by the Lagos master planner that made him king, just like he made Buhari president from retirement in 2015, four years after calling him expired.

What should I do with this for got sake.

I published an article here on Enugu, it didn't make it to the front page. Someone stole my article, with torch of AI, it was pushed to the front page. Is this how intellectual property get destroyed and stolen on Nairaland? No problem!

This was because we had less ooting by our leaders, who were allowed to emerge from among us on merit and performance records rather than turn by turn tribalistic and clannish rotations and zoning, to share the national cake.

Can you imagine how Lagosians are now drinking water from shitty boreholes, after 27 years of increasing budget 100 times due to higher tax burden on people. Unlike when Oyekan was made king.

Peter Obi has criticized the present govt for spending heavily on SUVs for lawmakers, and a lot of people have cvrsed out Wike for building houses for the judiciary. But let's go back in time shall we?

The same Obi who called out the govt reportedly purchased over 400 SUVs for traditional rulers during his time as a governor, oh, and with state funds obviously. Obi also got over 110 vehicles for Local Govts. He also gave out over 21 Honda Accord cars to judges in and 58 vehicles to magistrates; And that's not all. Houses were equally built for judges that cost close to N250m at that time.

Now how do you criticize Wike for building houses for judges, then clap for Obi who did the same? That's hypocrisy at its peak.

Note that the cars also distributed to the judges were reportedly Toyota sedans and Nissan SUVs. Obi equally distributed over 31 Peugeot 406 cars to House of Assembly members.

In his time his government distributed Ford, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, and Peugeot. Now he's talking about supporting local production. OK.

You're becoming miserable day after day over your hatred for Peter Obi, a man that you will never measure up to in this life and in your life to come . He lives rent free in your head . Keep talking , I hope you're making money sha and not just wasting your life away discussing Peter Obi even in a matter that has nothing to do with him .

The only thing that catch my eyes this screenshot I made:"Polling in East and Lagos on Thursday".
So there's been a time in this country that polling was held during workdays unlike nowadays that every elections are conducted on Saturdays.

I will say democracy is the cause of all the problem we are having now. During the military life was better ( even though people perceive them as evil$ then you see this men in power now are more evil than the military regime

I wonder why our system can't accommodate weekdays polling anymore,I know polling is conducted in other countries during working days without affecting people's work.

Yes I know you will say so cus during the great Oyekan Lagosian didn't noticed the ug--ly he--ads of those ingrate land grab--bers springing up but during Akiolu the ing--rate land grab--bers sprang up in full blown planning to hijack Lagos and started no man's land madness and you expect Akiolu to keep quiet ba?

Respect him or not both Kings are OK only difference is they both faced different challenges and can not operate and handles it same way. No sane King will seat idly and allow strangers they helped when no one want to help them to take over his kingdom and he will keep quiet its not possible and can not work unless if you can allow Yoruba or Ijaw or Fulasni or Hausa or Ebira to call your Town no man's land and even planning to remove your King and install theirs then I will accept your statement.

Rest abeg, ghotara?

This Late king was so down to earth and accessible even us children used to see him standing on his Iga Idungaran balcony

Our after-school lesson was sited right at the side of Igan Idunganran palace ( Eyin Iga area) in the early to mid 1980s when it was still the old palace

The fence was so little that we would jump over it as sport and the Kabiyesi would even be shouting at us to stop rough-play

Even his old mum, Iya Oba too used to sit on the balcony to enjoy the peace and ambience of Isale Eko and watch us kids play right in the middle of the vast compound of the Iga

At that time, the notable Lagosian names we knew were: Adeniji Adele, Onitolo, Obanikoro, Suenu, Onikoyi, Kosoko, Olumegbon, Bajulaye, Onilegbale, Gaji, Ashogbon, Onisemo, Etti, while the only Tinubu we knew was Tinubu Square

Fun childhood in my dearest Isale Eko and Idunmota hoods before Bola Tinubu ( an atoun-rin-wa as my Lagos ancestors referred to strangers) came to destroy our peace and tranquility with evil politics
