Nwaokunkpara:Oga, please stop scuffling excuses for these politicians, they are all the same and I enjoyed their fight, may their fight not ends until Nigeria is delivered from their grips. The question should be did he follow due process when he was in power? If they had built systems that works will they have been able to go this far without implications? |

Yes she is right to protest as a dutiful and loving wife. Yet she must know charges against her husband are serious. Had it been USA that El Rufai was taunting the chief security officer of the nation and ridiculing the security architecture of America before the world, then he is going to Guantanamo bay to be held incommunicado for months and perhaps even much longer. We have built a nation where so many feel above the law because of their status and standing in society. It should never be like that. Even Kanu will brag he can decide who lives or who dies while El Rufai's son is making regular menacing and sinister threats against Nigerians as if he will suffer no consequences for such. El Rufai's taunting of our NSA, and mocking of the Nigerian security architecture as inept, is not done nor tolerated in any serious nation of the world. |

How come she looks much more older than the midget? When your dwarf of a husband was killing the people of southern Kaduna, boasting he tapped the lines of security operatives at a time the country is facing security challenges, did you caution him? I beg madam go and sit down. |

In as much as I hate injustice of any sort, I am however very happy that he is tasting from the same cup..... What goes around comes around. Enjoy yhur time, Mallam El rufai ![]() |

I don't see Ell rufai getting released till after the election. I remember him saying he wrote two books about who tinubu is. He said he would release one by mid this year and the second by the end of the year. Definitely Tinubu must have feared whatever is going to be in the book. |

Nonsensical 😡 People are everywhere! |
| Re: El-Rufai's Wife, Asiya, Protests His Continued Detention (Video) by WizardOfNG: 2:47pm On May 19 |
Laple0541:This is the crux of the matter. Trump is sabre rattling and El Rufai, a Northerner and Fulani, is busy showing the world he is engaged in a conspiracy to undermine the security architecture of Nigeria at the highest level. Nigerians love ridiculing themselves and their nation publicly. For El Rufai to have gone that far, as a politician and prominent Nigerian leadership figure, is a serious slap on the face of the Tinubu administration. There was only one way for Tinubu to respond or be dammed globally as weak and fearful of Northerners who have a reputation of feeling they are above the laws of Nigeria. |

She is the wife of El Rufai. The numbering does not make sense. At least he married her. |

SlavaUkraini:indeed...I'm sure the north will also remember how he tapped a fellow northerner's phone who holds a strategic position. I hope the north remember also how El Rufai is in this mess today because of his mouth diarrhea. I hope d north remember also how El Rufai was a thorn on southern Kaduna. If Ur fellow northerner's would not remember, We in the south remember all of these |

Bluntemperor:Don't mind them. They will tell you they want Nigeria to be better yet they don't mind us looking like a Banana Republic because of hatred of Tinubu. El Rufai has long demonstrated unacceptable and condemnable extremism in his political toxicity against others. In any serious nation of the world, he is disappearing into a bunker for his effort to ridicule Ribuadu and mock Nigeria's security architecture before the world. I am sure his action has had consequences already with Nigeria now gaining a totally new homeland security advisor when no such office had existed before. |

| Re: El-Rufai's Wife, Asiya, Protests His Continued Detention (Video) by WizardOfNG: 3:13pm On May 19 |
Leepeak:Of course politics is involved but Tinubu cannot accept open ridiculing of his Government before the world that will make him look weak and not in control. Tinubu had to deal with El Rufai. He goes around saying what he wants and threatening everyone. The Nigerian security architecture is bigger than El Rufai and his ego. If Tinubu does not make that clear then the world will view him a joke. |

These things are not new to Nasir El-Rufai. He has been part of a government that treated people this way before. His case is like the chickens coming home to roost. |

Chief Ajayi biko if you don't have definite evidence against Oga El Rufia allow him to go enjoy his Sallah in peace. He might be petite, I don't think his mind his petite, moreover he's a former Government Official, you should by now have enough data about his activities. |

Bluntemperor:Well-said. I've made my stance clear on this forum. The North is like a child that refuses to grow up. Nigeria is a beautiful country with amazing potentials. I love all Nigerians including Northerners. Yet, Northerners will take our nation down if we do not administer the tough love that will force them to come into modernity and progressivism. Southerners are not ready for progress in Nigeria. When we are, we will realise we must tackle the North and force the region to reform or part with her. |
