When it was happening in the north and then middle belt, some thought it has nothing to do with them

Now people in Raumdeuter village are running away from bandits while he is in a safe country standing on BAT mandate
If they succeed, they will definitely move down to SS and SE. They are being emboldened as they make progress in capturing and turning regions to lawless fiefdoms.

Tinubu is just so terrible. A greedy man whose only concern is his own pocket getting over fat, plus his raging hunger for power. That man is cruel.

Dont be surprised that he will look the other way while these bludsockers run riot in SW...probably to please the North like he did in the popular "where is the cow" rhetorical question

I see this statement lately, and I am wondering why you think it isn't happening in the SS and SE.

Maybe they are not kidnapping in bulk and beheading people, but they kidnap in all these regions and kill almost Everytime.

Harrison Gwamnishu still posts cases of kidnap in Delta state back to back. Dem still dey carry people for farm, dey finish them. For most states, only their capital and few cities are safe.

I used to say it last year that only Lagos is the safest place in Nigeria. It is only Lagos that petty kidnaps has not reached, and that is the last busstop. Whoever is behind this is not just pursuing it for money, it's a bigger picture.

Lagos na their aim, and that's what's left to be captured. Every other state is not even an issue again

No state is safe again.
I stopped flying in through Owerri airport after a driver told me they kidnap along that route. My friend from Enugu is always posting news of some communities that were attacked. Sadly everyone is focused on being re-elected, so no governor would agree his state is on fire, except if the situation is beyond his control.

I know things like democracy are not topics you are good with. But there is a person called a State governor who is the CSO of his state. Oyo state has a Govrnor who should know his state better than Tinubu
Our governor is doing a jamboree ADC conference, declaring for presidency while his state is on fire
When Tinubu said the buck of security stops at the president's table under Jonathan didn't he know states had governors then?

No one oh.

What happened in Oyo will happen in almost many communities in the South, and nobody will stop them.

Nigeria is scary

Nothing is stopping them from overrunning any community if they want to.

If they enter my village today, and pack school children and shoot in the air, will anybody stop them?

What happened in Oyo will repeat itself in 36 states in Nigeria, and it will be successful.

There's no security anywhere, whether na SS, SE or SW.

This is enough reason not to even pick you sef. You must be absolutely stupeed to act that way grin

PRESS RELEASE

UPDATE ON NIGERIA- UNITED STATES JOINT STRIKES ON ISIS: FORCES DELIVER DEVASTATING BLOW, ELIMINATE 175 TERRORISTS

The Defence Headquarters wishes to announce major successes in continuing counterterrorism operations in close coordination with United States Africa Command against ISIS terrorists in North East Nigeria.

It will be recalled that the joint strikes started a few days ago. As of 19 May 2026, assessments indicate that 175 ISIS terrorists have been eliminated from the battlefield.

The joint strikes have resulted in the destruction of ISIS checkpoints, weapons caches, logistical hubs, military equipment and financial networks used to sustain terrorist operations.

The operations have also resulted in the elimination of several senior ISIS leaders, including Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, one of the most significant ISIS operatives in the world.

Al-Minuki played a central role in ISIS external operations, coordinating terrorist financing, recruitment, logistics and attack planning targeting Nigerians and innocent civilians around the world. His death severely disrupts ISIS command, operational coordination and external attack networks.

Other terrorist figures eliminated include Abd-al Wahhab, ISWAP senior leader responsible for coordinating attacks and distributing propaganda, Abu Musa al-Mangawi, ISWAP senior member and Abu al-Muthanna al-Muhajir, ISWAP senior media production team manager and close confidant to al-Minuki.

The joint strikes have further reinforced what the Armed Forces of Nigeria have consistently done over the years - hunt down and kill terrorists anywhere they are in Nigeria.

The joint operations will continue to hunt down and destroy those who threaten our nation and regional stability.

Tinubu has delegated to the governors who know their environment and state better. Also equipped them to secure their homelands, like its done in a Federal system we practice

If Seyi cannot perform his duty, Maybe he should quit and let Tinubu come and handle Oyo directly. There have been cries about the activities of bandits and movement in the Oyo forests, what has Seyi done about it ?
Person wey talk say buck stops at his table is now delegating? grin

And he can't be delegating when the bulk of resources and control of security architecture are still in his hands...what you're trying to describe is abandonment of duties by Amoda.
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Amoto94(m): 9:05pm On May 19
For months there were reports of illegal miners in the Old Oyo National Park and the danger their activities posed to the overall security and safety of Oyo State, but the authorities largely looked away because some individuals were profiting from the illicit trade. It was only a question of when the bandits will strike not if since there's a nexus between illegal mining and insecurity.
My thoughts and prayers are with the victims of the attacks

He has empowered state governors more than under Jonathan

Mr publicity secretary of the Nigerian military, Incase you're not hearing it from people around you.

Only fools still hold the Nigerian military in any regard. The Nigerian military is an unprofessional and very useless force.

If they were handling terrorists and bandits with the same zeal they use when dealing with defenceless citizens they're supposed to be protecting, maybe the country would've been safer.

This is from 2022. There were signs which the governor ignored

Last year I spoke to one of the chiefs in Ogbomoso about my concern given how it's happening in Kwara and he was saying nothing will happen that they will use every means military and traditional

Yeah and human being lives have to be prioritized by govt for them to do their job and not just be there to mark register and collect allocation

There have been noise about activities of miners in Oyo north and bandits surrounding Old Oyo national Park which the govt ignored

So how about Kwara, Benue, Plateau, and the Northern states terrorists have repeatedly attacked? The earlier we tell ourselves the truth and face it, the better,

Is it only Oyo that has experienced this?

What about other states that these killings have happened? Was it Oyo north miners that caused it?

There is a national insecurity issue that has worsened with each passing year. It's insensitive to make it look like a "Tinubu is not responsible affair".

I feel it is insensitive to start defending leaders who swore to protect their citizens

Few days ago I saw Oma Akatugba's post on Facebook wishing himself a happy birthday with his pictures and that of his kids attached to that post. I was wondering what happened to his German wife who was conspicuously absent in all the pictures he posted.

Today I read an article by PremiumTimes where they quoyted his as saying his wife has left hime because he welcome a 4th Child with another woman shocked

The guy say "I became a single father of 4 kids overnight " grin . He don use her sort papers finish, do wetin dey him mind come dey farm pity

How much even dey him hand? The little you have instead of spreading it judiciously among these 3 you now introduce a 4th party from nowhere

The guy lacks sense. I won't be surprised if the new baby mama is a Nigerian. He may be one of those guys who believe if you have not yet married a woman from naija or Ur tribe, u never marry.

Now he's having to fight his wife for custody. Even if he wins custody battle, how can he be caring for these 3 kids on his own and keep a day job? If his ex-wife wins custody, won't he be paying child support out of whatever his hustle brings him?

The guy just be like who use his wandering prick set better yawa for himself.

The number of foolish men that believe this thing will alarm you. Especially Gen X and Old Millennials that believe this crap

That's why you have some men with ok situations in Europe and the US will be disturbing Naija babes and talk about bringing them over. When they get there and these Naija babes chop their eyes they will come online to cry wolf

There comes a stage you have to prioritize legacy over vagina. If you have a compliant 6, she's better than that 8 you see online with make up and filter that by the time you strip it all off, na still 6 with her own unique set of problems and baggage from the other niggas she don deal with. Cos first off no decent woman will let you mess with her when you have 3 kids and a wife
