Not surprising sha... Anybody sharing is putting themselves and others at a disadvantage. Those who haven't participated yet are sharp guys-everyone who made it to the AC, to be honest-who will milk any drop of info given out to their advantage
I’m surprised that anyone is surprised that no one has talked of their AC experience WHILE AC IS ONGOING. It just clearly shows that whoever is asking has not done their basic research from previous ACs. Any purported publication from such person or persons would also have been poorly researched

NLNG Assessment Center also called NLNG Assessment is the last stage of NLNG Graduate Trainee recruitment process, with respect to NLNG graduate Trainee Program, NLNG Assessment Center involves panel interview, case study, group discussion and presentations.
For those asking for study guide for Assessment center you can find it here 👉https://selar.com/nlngassessmentcenter

Exactly, everyone will use the exact same briefs. Those who get the info will surely get in

Not necessarily. Knowing the content of the brief gives a little advantage. But in no way does it guarantee you would get in. The brief does not give any direct question for a direct answer.

While it doesn't give direct answers, I'm very confident that if I were to get my hands on it, I'd get in. I extended the same reasoning to everyone, as I believe that everyone who made it to this stage possesses significant aptitude.

The advantage of being able to stay calm because you already have planned how you want to execute would give anyone (with a decent brain) a major advantage. At the AC stage, the competition is formidable. The “opposition” are most likely excellent “executioners”. Any slight advantage they have will put them ahead of the competition.

I am not surprised that people are quiet after AC. Only a buff.00n would spill after the excruciating AC experience. Like Cynthia said: we arrived, sat down, did some things, ate, did some more things and closed

Let me share my own
We went in
We sat down
We did things
We ate food
We did other things…. Vibes and InshaAllah
We went home😂😂😂😂
Please the only thing I want to know is - did the AC have only the 3 exercises (group discussion, fact finding and presentation) we know of or was something else added (like CBI)?

Nobody here will answer your question just get this study guide via the link https://selar.com/nlngassessmentcenter and familiarize yourself with some aspects that's all.
Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by ExpertNLer: 11:20am On May 17
they don't usually ask for CV in GT recruitment lol
michaelodafe:
For anyone applying to NLNG or similar big-company roles: do not use a generic CV. Mirror the vacancy language where it is true for you, especially around safety, reporting, compliance, engineering tools, and stakeholder work. Your first page should explain fast why you fit this exact role.
Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Larynxfc: 12:07pm On May 17
CBI was done for the 2013-17 set I think, but not for the 2023. I doubt they will revert to the former setup (they had a WAEC exam too) though I have no clear info on the current one.

During my time, the first stage was a paper-based WAEC exam. The second stage was another paper-based test, this time an SHL assessment with multiple sections, before candidates moved on to the Assessment Centre.

Good afternoon. For those who have done the AC, were they particular about the size of the passport photograph?

In hindsight, was there really a need for the WAEC stage? For me, it felt like its main purpose was to fulfill local content requirement and serve as a gross filter to cut down the number of applicants. My experience with the WAEC screening was less than stellar, and I was in a more organized center (compared to centers like Unilag where I hear it was pure chaos). Sitting conditions in my “more organized” center was atrocious. I shared a desk with another applicant and we could literally look into each others answer sheet. The SHL for me was THE true test prior to AC

It was a different era if I must say...recruitment has come a very long way and at the time , I reckon that was the best approach for large scale basic competence testing at the time.

My first test was at the ICC in Abuja...there was almost a stampede at some point and if not for my sister, I would have just gone back home due to the size of the crowd.

Wow! Tomorrow is the day. It feels so surreal, I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I'm anticipating, even relishing the idea of the challenge while simultaneously having 'freeze' moments when thinking of the intensity of the exercises. Anyways I'm sleeping soon; can't add poor concentration and fatigue to the nerves I'm feeling now. Good luck to my fellow May 20th candidates. May the fourth be with us!

Good day all. I have my AC at Eko Hotels next week. I'm looking for cheaper areas that are relatively close to VI (where Eko hotels is) where I can then get an hotel to stay. I'll appreciate inputs from folks familiar with Lagos, thank you.

Your best option is obalende, anything outside obalende is quite expensive, obalende is closer.

I wasn't aware we were given a default pin after the AC. I tried using the prepaid card at the Access bank ATM, but was met with a pin request. I reported at the bank, and was told it was usual for us to have been given a pin (should be the same for everyone). As such, could anyone please let me know what the default pin was? You can reach out to my mail if you don't want the publicity. Thanks
