I quite agree with you. We need to add more vegetables to our meals. We don't eat enough of vegetables to balance the carb intake.

For example, white rice should be eaten with leafy vegetable stew abi na soup and not just pepper stew.

That's why each person needs to take charge of their diet. Nothing wrong in incorporating diet plan from other cultures or races with ingredients that are locally available.
