You can't place any on hold , you will just have to reduce your expenses on them , cut some things accordingly thats if you really want to use the savings for something tangible .. this is what I do and it helped me .. I am a very determined person and so much believes in the power of savings .. I even set target for myself then . I will give myself a target I wished to safe for the month and my mind will be ther untill I saved them , I won't loot them , divert them or spend from them .. reduce those unnecessary spending and start saving them up with other money that comes

Now, this is one of the challenges that I usually face back then.
Data
Clothes
Junk food
Beer
Some times transportation
Trying to please everyone that needs money even when I don't have money.
These was my major setback

How do I overcome these.
I bought an exercise book and write how much I always spent and how much was my income a day to a months.
I saw the leakage.

I said to myself among all the lasted items which one is not important.

I look at clothes.
Each time I made sales I will buy clothes that don't even need at that moment.
I cross it out.

Junk food.
I think about health hazards. I cross it out. I reduced the intake by 80%
I choose fruits

Intake of beer.
I reduced it by 80% in a month

Transportation
I have to use avoidable once with bargaining or do a little trekking which part of exercise.
That has reduced to 60% except I am in a hurry.

Coming to Data
I need data not call card.i discover an app that I can buy data at a very cheap price.
Cheaper than other apps that I have come across.
This has helped me a lot.

I said to myself I need to make sure I make some little Cash extra on line to cover for my data and call card.
I discover free money making apps that help me to generate extra money free for my call card and my data and before my monthly subscription got finished I have already make extra money to cover for my data rather dipping hand into my capital.

Then instead of putting my money all in the bank land the bank will be charging me unnecessarily.
