I'll ask, which aspect of tech do u have in mind? Considering some requirements, you have a good laptop and desktop, electricity supply is awesome .... I'll advice u to fortify yourself with a petrol generator and power station, just incase nepa does their magic) ... whats left is skill acquisition which is the most import crown jewel of the matter cos the computers won't operate themselves. Hey, so since you said that you want to enter into tech and also want to start working as a remote worker. Then you should also consider that whatever skill that you want to learn will actually take you a lot of time to learn to become really good at it. It could take you anywhere from a few months to years HERE'S WHAT I'LL RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO first off, you should learn how to run ads on different social media platform like Facebook ads Google ads Tiktok ads And then you should buy an affiliate marketing course I'm not telling to start affiliate marketing but you are going to get a very good course on affiliate marketing so that you can be able to sell so well that you can even sell water to fish. Because you'll learn everything that you'll need to know how to sell products Now after you've learnt how to run ads and also sell products You can then begin selling any product of your choice or even sell yourself to clients instead of doing what everybody does which is learning a skill and then start competing to have a role in a company that you could eventually get laid off and then restart the whole process With these marketing skills, here are the opportunities that you'll eventually be setting yourself up for 1. You can directly target your target clients in any industry that you want to work in Position yourself as an expert, if they eventually decide to work with you as an ads expert, you can then charge retainer fee every month so as to keep managing their ads 2. You can create a course that teaches people how to setup high converting course and then you can run ads selling these course (now you have passive income) 3. You can pick any product of your choice and sell it to start making good money 4. You can start a drop shipping business right here in Nigeria selling products to people in the USA or any country and then run ads targeting those people that would actually want the products (another passive income) 5. You can start your own ads agency or marketing agency 6. 1Alex:obvious this are basic systems for tech people, even the Elitebook is just normal to me , when we talk beast we are going for most gaming laptops, but in terms of regular use this systems are beyond average. Why will a gamer go and buy Elitebook and zbook, when alienware and the like Dey. Am talking basic business usage the system he has are beyond average. |

Hello, I understand your plight. It's difficult to land a remote gig in the tech world. If you have good English language skills, which you seem to have, you can consider transcriing. It's just about listening to a recorded audio conversation and typing out everything that's said, formatting the document according to the company's style guide. I once worked as a transcriber for a few remote firms in the US and the UK, and I can guarantee that they pay very well once you are diligent and willing to learn.
