Family Cautions Against Speculation Over Murder of Anambra Billionaire in Abuja

The Adimike family of Awka Etiti, Anambra State, has cautioned the public against what it described as misinformation and unverified reports surrounding the circumstances of the death of their Son, Mr Lucky Chinedu Adimike in Abuja.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the family said several narratives circulating on social media and some online platforms were speculative and not supported by facts from the ongoing police investigation.

The family stressed that no official conclusion had been reached regarding those responsible for the incident and warned against assigning blame without evidence.

“The family states unequivocally that many of the claims currently being peddled are speculative, misleading, and unsupported by facts emerging from the ongoing police investigation,” the statement said.

It added that the spread of unverified allegations was “irresponsible and deeply hurtful” to the family during the mourning period.

The family also appealed to the media and the public to avoid sensational reporting and allow security agencies to complete their investigations professionally.

The reaction followed reports linking the death of the Abuja resident to an alleged domestic incident, with the FCT Police Command confirming that five persons had been taken into custody as part of ongoing investigations.

Police spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, had earlier stated that the deceased was discovered in his Guzape residence after concerns were raised over inability to reach him, adding that investigations were ongoing.

Mr Lucky Adimike, a businessman until his death was the CEO of Lucky Accessories, a company into electronics, electrical appliances and real estate.

You think being a billionaire is rocket science?

If it seems impossible to you, it doesn’t mean it’s impossible for others.

Making a billion naira isn’t as difficult as it seems to you!.

A big loss though! What I read of Mr Lucky Adimike are glowing reports of how generous he was and his love for Catholic Church. However, the rumour of how he departed at the hands of his 'loving' son is worrying and gives one a source of reflection. O diro mma i nu na onye a ga-eji ehi kwa na okuko tagburu ya. Lucky, a good man as acclaimed by many, departing in this manner, is undeserving! It is a rumour peddled since he left but there is a saying that holds that in every rumour, there is an iota of truth. There were signs before now, seen by those who started the rumour. What was done to tame it then? Was the rod spared, and the child spoiled? I am not giving credence to the rumour. There is no smoke without a fire. What will exonerate the young man is the police releasing the CCTV footage showing what really happened on that fateful day! Lucky, a big man and stupendously rich, would have the latest security gadget installed in his magnificient mansion in a high area of Abuja! It is a pity such a good man left the manner he did. May almighty God bless his soul.

May his soul rest in peace.

The single fact that he owns a property in Guzape already makes him a billionaire. That's not to mention anything about his other assets and businesses.

What is the big fuss about billionaire or not ? Definitely, when a Nigerian say someone is a billionaire, they mean in Naira of course.

And how difficult is it to be a billionaire in Naira for god sake when the currency's value is at the weak end and a billion naira is less than $1million. In fact, if things retrogress further, being a naira billionaire will become as mundane as being a naira millionaire.

You see a man that moves in a convoy of at least 2 vehicles worth a combined purchase value of 120 million Naira (low end) and you think that half his net-worth is tied up in his cars ? No, for you to move around in vehicles worth above 100m Naira you definitely have a venture that produces that volume of money either in profit or revenue.

If 100m is your profit per year, then by conservative estimate of 5% ROI you are operating on a capital base of 2 billion Naira. As a sole entrepreneur, are you not a billionaire ? If 100m is your gross revenue, then your business can be fairly valued at a billion naira depending on the Industry you operate in.

This world is varied oh, don't use your small mind / network to shoot your self in the foot with poverty mentality. When you sit and realize that you can make a billion naira in revenue if just 2000 people in your state that has a population of over 1million people buy your bread that costs 1500 everyday of the year, you shake off that funny mentality and start thinking right. Everyday you walk past silent naira billionaires.

Who borrows more than rich people in the entire world, Otedola that broke free from over $100m bad debt is still rich today, so what is your point.
Try to be valuable enough so that people can take huge chances on you.
