Na now the real anti-party go start.
Can Politicians who were disqualified from their parties primary be able to partake in another party primary?

The APC will lose a lot of members if they can still partake in other parties primary election
Re: Court Nullifies INEC Membership Timeline by Truths9ja(op): 6:48pm On May 21
Parachoko:
I'm not sure

If they partake in other parties primary, the case can be taken to court by any of their opponent in the APC and other Political Parties

As for me this Case is a 50/50 case
ok lets keep our fingers crossed. Court of justice will always prevail.

Anybody who has partake in a primary election can't partake in another primary election again
That means Fubara has a smart plan then.

When INEC appeals, we will know what they are up to but they will be careful.

I don't think they will!

Court of justice is helping matters here. No fear, let's go.
Judiciary you are the one paying their wages and allowances ba?

Any court not federal High Court, not appeal court and not supreme Court is just playing political ostrich judgement.

U get it or not?

Yes @ the bolded.

@Truths9ja.....
fergie001 with huge experience in the amended electoral act have spoken already. Even if they appeal the judgement in the appeal court, the judgement will be sustained till it reached supreme court too.

Isobug:
I swear. I just hope this will stand.
Because that man Wike has bought virtually all judges, I wonder how the Court was able to muster the judgement. They will soon come with a court order prohibiting politicians from decamping until final appeal at the supreme court especially as the development will not favor them at all
You get the scope, it's systematic dribbling.

exactly you are very right. Inec can't appeal the judgement cos' they want level playing ground among parties involved. Inec chairman is a lawyer too. So he understands the law.

They have to take leave of court.
The leave of court to appeal is because they were not parties in the lower court.
Hence they will either approach Justice Umar to join the suit or approach the Appeal Court.

Two things are trite:
- They must show cause why their leave should be granted and why it affects them most than other parties.

- If it is granted, be sure that the other parties will also apply for the leave.

It doesn't mean anything ...the candidiate can decide to relinquish same.
And another candidiate brought in.

It happened with Senators Aliero, Abdullahi & co...in 2023.
The FHC and Appeal ruled against it but the Supreme Court allowed it.
