IronGalaxy:THE CANADIANS ARE FED UP OF THEM? REALLY? SO HOW DO CANADIANS SHOW THAT THEY ARE FED UP? BY TARGETING, BEATING UP, AND KILLING INDIANS ON THE STREETS OF TORONTO, BREAKING INTO THEIR SHOPS, AND DRAGGING THEM OUT OF HOSPITALS, LIKE YOU SUPPORT IN SOUTH AFRICA? IS THAT WHAT IS HAPPENING IN CANADA? ![]() |

lordprogress:It terms of pressuring economically and through stigma, it was not Cuba. Remember the War in Angola against Cuba ended in the late 1980s, and apartheid ended in the 90s. Now the war was costly for South Africa but that was all because of the embargoes. I am not saying the Cubans did not help here but even the Cubans needed support from the USSR (and most of the USSR wealth and industry is in the europe part) and the other Warsaw pact members. Nigeria contributed nothing and really it was probably only so due to the fact that South Africa supported Bifiar. The founder of the South African Special Forces was even in Bifair and left on the last flight out The average White South African who voted to end Apartheid in 1992 cared more that the Springboks could not play at the World Cup than the fact that they could not trade with Nigeria. By 1992 the South Africa was fully out of the war in Angola along with Cuba |

Kushites:Read again, do u see Americans migrate to be hawking on the streets? When they migrate they mostly work in coroporate world and become expatriates, they bring investments down and even employ locals. Most blacks migrate to do menial jobs. The population of blacks seeking for empployment when they migrate is way more than those who bring down investments to their host. That is the issue. South Africa is not a developed world that can withstand high inflow of lowly skilled migrants. Go to Germany, UK, France, etc and do that. South Africa is a developing nation that has grown pass many african countries and needs to attain Development, so she needs highly skilled immigrants and investors. Not barbers, roadside hawkers, street vendors, cleaner, etc. Leave those jobs for locals who wants to do them. |

sleeknaija:What ive noticed about the issue is the hypocrisy of you African people, someone will scream "igbo must go" at home, then want to lecture us about fake Pan Africanism.. You refuse to take accountability, calling us "xenophobic" its the easiest route.. |

sleeknaija:The new issue about how many countries an asylum seeker travels through is new. Two new laws are now being implemanted One. If you fail, you Aslym request you can not request again. People were abusing the system since if you got a pending request, you can't be deported, so they would apply be denied and apply again. That loophole is closed now The second new law is the first safe country. If your journey from the DRC took you through Angola, Namibia, for example then why you know in South Africa? In fact, why did you leave the DRC. if eastern DRC at war go to where there is no war. The DRC is big. |

Stolen:you were talking about work didnt you?ok let's stick tonthr issue of jobs..Imagine the poorest South African being priced out of a job because a Malawian is willing to work for R10 an hour, where does this leave the poor south african? You know we used to have jobs after leaving school.. they were called "piece jobs" they were for gaining experience.. jobs like delivery, waiter, etc.. all taken over by Zimbos now... Do you know how many qualified Doctors are unemployed in SA? Does it make sense to hire a Zimbabwean one? |

IronGalaxy:LISTEN VERY CAREFULLY AND DO YOUR RESEARCH, BUSINESSES HISTORICALLY WANT CHEAP LABOUR SO THEY CAN MAXIMISE PROFIT BY LOWERING COST OF PRODUCTION. HISTORICALLY, UNION DEMANDS FOR FAIR WAGES IN PLACES LIKE AMERICA AND EUROPE LEAD TO BUSINESS SHUTTING DOWN ENTIRE PRODUCTION LINE AND RELOCATION TO WHERE THEIR IS CEHAP LABOUR. THIS IS WHAT HAPPEND TO AMERICAN FACTORY AND UK INDUSTRIES, THEY MOVED TO PLACES LIKE BANGLADESH AND INDIA TO AVOD PAYING FAIR WAGES TO THEIR OWN PEOPLE IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY. THE END RESULT IS DISUSE FACTORY ALL OVER WHAT USE TO BE THEIR INDUSTRIAL CITY. GAIAN U ARE BLAMING AND TARGETING THE WRONG PEOPLE. |

Kushites:There are billion plus people in China and India. 10 million is a small drop. Anyway, America has a far larger economy and much smaller unemployment numbers. You can not compare South Africa here. |

Emeskhalifa:In South Africa they find employment, make money and send it back home. they all so get access to South Africas Social Services like medical care Even access to South African Schools https://sihma.org.za/Blog-on-the-move/good-news-for-children-of-undocumented-foreign-parents-and-guardians-for-their-admission-into-south-african-schools-1 In north Africa they are exploited https://www.walkfree.org/global-slavery-index/findings/regional-findings/africa/ https://refugeesmigrants.un.org/fr/node/100043193 https://www.iom.int/news/iom-learns-slave-market-conditions-endangering-migrants-north-africa |

IronGalaxy:Maybe you all have a point. You guys probably have a point, but what most Africans do not understand is why go about it in this manner. Don't you guys have migration laws, officers, police. You can't go about hunting down innocent, probably, legal migrants because you do not want them. That's a failed state right there, mob justice. S/A isn't the only country grappling with migration challenges, but you are the only ones trying to solve it in this way anywhere in the world. This should make you guys stop and think. |
