Merino is fit and ready to make the squad according to HOA.

I say give him 20 minutes against Palace. I need him to practise his jumps because that header from corner to win it for Arsenal against PSG will be so orgasmic
Merino goal will be sweet.
Eze banger will be sweeter
Gyokores shot goal will vibrate nerves

But none will be stuck in memories like the Martinelli trademark lone run goal

PSG pressing for a goal hard and suddenly Saliba heads the ball out and Rice chips the ball to an already running Martinelli. Goes past one and two and onrushing keepeer is passed 30yrs out. He looks back, noisy gunners from the stands, arms stretched out in jubilation before he buries the goal that seals the prestigious UCL trophy in Budapest, Peter Drury adding poetic justice to the fiery and emotional atmosphere

Anyway anyhow, make the trophy just come home. Whether na Martinelli or Eze or Merino score. 😁😁

Even if na Raya, I no mind.
BTW, make palace fans just do normal and comot stadium on time tomorrow.

About 24 hours to Arsenal coronation at the Palace. Yessss!!!

Only Maresca go give Arteta problems. Why? He's taking over a built solid team. He's been here before. His philosophy is cool for epl football.

But Arsenal will be super busy in the summer window and that alone is going to make it hard for Carrick in bs first full season to dare challenge Arteta for title. He will first have to come close b2b. Alonso go gats settle and rebuild fes. Emery? No guarantee but guy dey switch on and off. If Arteta no turn those 3 2nds to 3 1st ehn.

Quadruple still on point

Epl✅
UCL ⌛
Uefa Super cup ⌛
Club World Cup ⌛⌛

4 Trophies won fit turn 7 trophies soon in 7years.
I really don't want to sound complacent or overconfidence.

Coming second thrice in a row had a lot to do with us more than our rival. It's just as if we like pressing self destruct button when it is time to go all the way.

In view of this, I don't think we should have any issue competing next season.

Maresca? League is a marathon and most of the core of Pep's city are no longer there. It'll be worse if there are key outgoings for them.

Xabi Alonso? The actual rival IMO. The only thing that might limit him next season is definitely going to be squad depth. If Chelsea doesn't make Europe, it might help them sha.

Carrick? Same issue as Xabi. Squad depth.

Liverpool? Arne Slot is more interested in what goes on in another club than how he's going to improve his team. Also, with Salah leaving, their attack just lose a leg out of two.

All in all, let's focus on ourselves. Arteta is setting a standard and he must work harder to meet and exceed this standard. He should have learn his lessons by now. No more experiments and yeye substitutions. And most importantly, he has Andrea Berta and not that Mr. Chef.

One game left and they don dey mock Gyokores who is on 14goals, forgetting that many winners had goalscorers with less than 16goals since 1992.

Palace suppose chop 4. My own na make they no injure any key player. Infact that Calafiori dey fear me.

Well said.

I doubt Palmer will remain in Chelsea sha. That club go need rebuild afresh cos the exit for 5 key starters is assureɗ, esp if no Europe spot

Na cos of Berta go cook na why i dont see much of a rivalry. I hope we modifiy the zerbi+flick+pep combo that Arteta used and get back tha 2022/23 fluid flow, especially with better personnel on ground. That system was brain buster until injuries.

Xabi might be able to persuade them to stay.

On Arsenal attack, I think it's more of combination, availability and skill set issue. Also, most of pur forwards just dey lose form.
When we're blowing teams away, Saka, Martinelli and Xhaka were on top of their games. We're moving fast and rapid.

I can also attribute our recent football model to nerves. It's difficult when you're trying to win something after 22 years. Now that we have bagged it, the players should be able to relax and be more expressive on the pitch.

The reason I has not bought the new home jersey is because I wanted to wait for the one that will have golden Premier league logo as the EPL champion.

I knew we will win the league and didn't want to rush to buy the one that doesn't have the EPL champion golden logo. Can't imagine wearing plain arsenal jersey when we are the champions 🤩. So I will just stick to rocking my current season home jersey for now.

Once the euphoria surrounding celebration of the EPL and possibly UCL triumph dies down, I will cop the next season jersey for myself, my wife and possibly the toddler version for my boy.

For now most retailers are claiming they are selling out all their arsenal stock. One guy that does content on TikTok in Yoruba ; Adekunle TV claimed he didn't sleep overnight due to orders from Arsenal fans. He said arsenal fans just kept bombarding them with orders since we won the league.
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by germaphobe(m): 5:05pm On May 23
With the league already bagged, there's no need to play our main players. Teta can start the minors and those that haven't gotten enough chance this season. The focus now is on ucl final.

One thing I observed from all the talks since we confirmed the title is that Arteta is not really hard on the players and a dictator like we think. From Eze being free and bold enough to meet him after the Man city game and suggest he gives them freedom and space with less training schedules to him admitting we were shit in the wolves game when other staffs provided stats after he first said it was a great performance. Many times he has taken the blame and fall for our results even when players blame themselves, that is a true leader and manager.

City losing Bernado and stones plus potentially Rodri will weaken their team for sure, because they are the core part of city's winning players.

Nothing go too sweet pass the near zero of backpasses. We used it to create spaces but now we've gotten what we desired, we should reserve for more technical teams and unleashed the avatar state on them all
