Ordinarily, a stakeholders’ meeting involving aspirants for the House of Representatives and the Senate should be peaceful, organized, and focused on unity. Yet, what played out turned into a complete tug of war in FCT.

The Chairman of the Electoral Committee responsible for conducting the ADC primaries in the FCT convened a stakeholders’ meeting involving House of Representatives aspirants, Senatorial aspirants, and party leaders, including the sitting Senator, to witness the distribution of sensitive electoral materials.

If an ordinary party primary could descend into such disorder, tension, and confusion, are these truly the people Nigerians should trust with the leadership and future of the nation?

Nigeria is Tinubu.
