Tenses:
I have a friend that depends 100% on electricity to run his business. About a month ago their transformer developed fault, so since last month he has not been running his business.

Just last Friday his wife called me saying I should tell my friend he should go and look for a job, that this is not what she signed up for in that marriage.

This my friend opened the business she's currently doing.

You are right in your posit.

This isn't an excuse o. He should improvise nah? A business he is running should be able to give him savings at least for the raining day like this. He should buy a Generator nah? If he no get money to buy, he Should get a loan and buy to continue running his business nah?

Exactly, but what she said that got me thinking is the bedsheets part. Imagine someone still stealing something from these people despite their low ground level situation. Also, she said they do go to church every Sunday. What kind of people are in that church and what type of pastor that can't find a way to support these couple.... The touching story has since generated reactions online, with many Nigerians praising her loyalty while others called for support for the struggling couple.

But please you people should not bring Innocent kids into this world to come and suffer with you people and continue that cycle of poverty!!! "The love of money is the root of all evil". The grandmother switched up on them after the husband lost his job. She's praying ...full of faith ... but is not welcomed in church because of poverty. Isn't this the type of people the church should be embracing? I'm almost sure the holier than the thou church members are the ones that mock them the most.
I strongly believe God is responsible for all these trials and tribulations they're going through. I also believe this interviewer was God sent to mark the end of tribulation and th beginning of a new life. This interview should make us think twic about judging homeless people when we know absolutely nothing about the circumstances that put them in the streets.

Just focus on your hustle. The lady can try washing clothes or cleaning for households. The woman that used to sweep our house swept 3 houses on the street. She comes early, sweeps and by 9am latest, she is done with all three.

There are many little things they can both do to get by.
