raumdeuter:All these excuses grow stale day by day and monotonous. ![]() Why won't these criminal elements spring up everywhere In different forms and name day by day when you have a Minister of defence, defence adviser and immediate ex CDS calling terrorists our brothers who have gone astray? What messaging are you telling others who are on the fence and deciding whether to join or not. What are you telling the ones already causing problems and receiving some military heat? You're simply just EMBOLDENING them and announcing to anyone who has ears that you have capitulated!! Before now, it was junior officers they killed... The senior guys higher up the hierarchy boko and then ISIS and all splinter groups could kill were Colonels, Captains etc. But now shït is way worse that even Generals, Major Generals, Brigadier Generals gets targeted and killed. Isn't that a disgrace to the military. Non state actors oo. Imagine if these guys had weaponry like them Libyan, Houthis and co, it means the country would be Why would I be surprised.....if you know about ISWAP and it's ideology, they are very ambitious and go for the next biggest targets. Those ones aren't so concerned with these petty kidnaps of those days...mass killings is mainly making a statement. Their main target is crippling any visible sense of a central government and its protection to the point you're entirely at their mercy. So after seeing them killing a General in Nigeria, it wouldn't be surprising to see the same group be bold and successful to attack and take out a whole defence minister. Each successes and no significant retaliation from the armed forces EMBOLDENS them. Maybe na when dem gun for DHQ in Abuja na that time government and Tinubu go serious. On people being surprised that ISIS № 2 was in Nigeria and a Nigerian at that..... If you are in the military threads as frequenter or commenter, it's already an open secret that ISIS already has a foothold in Nigeria for the past 4/5 years. That's when they came out as ISWAP (ISIS in West African Province), they were the sect that grew so hard-line and dangerous they were known for planning and attacking military bases. Since then, ISIS has been allocating more importance, resources or funds to ISWAP operations and the group became even deadlier than ISIS during its peak before US Coalition drove them out. With all these useless coup with these incompetent AES states dictators up North, we're in for serious soup. You think US has been issuing out travel advisory for years on Nigeria without seeing a trend? This just shows how useless and tactless APC governance has been in Nigeria. |

izzou:When majority of the top guys in military na Northerners asides the Nigerian Navy, why dem no go support their "brothers". After all we're a very tribalistic country. The moment they started tagging these terrorists as bandits by their own governors and security operatives, na that time I know say this people are not serious in tackling this issue. I feel the name tag banditry gives them a pass. A tad lighter punishment and prejudice as opposed to being tagged as terrorists. Cos I see it as it seems engineered in our minds over here that terrorists= extremists jihadists. So there's an ethno-religious angle. But bandits= everyday average person turning to crime for money. And kidnappers in the South here usually connotes to r! T. Ua.. lists or organ harvesters. This smart wording determines how severe a group is looked at in public opinions and following punishments. |

MonsieurCoder:So by your logic,if a Governor supports APC it means the resident of that state all supports APC? ![]() What do we term such a thing? ![]() How did OBI win Lagos with Sanwo?🌚 Listen! Winning an election is about playing dirty and exploiting/covering up any loopholes, which is what BAT and the APC are currently doing. That said, I can also beat my chest that APC is winning next year.My issue with Raum, which you delved into, was that he made it look like the citizens of Nigeria will actually vote for BAT again massively, despite all the killings and insecurity surfacing and resurfacing. A quick question -As a Nigerian, are you comfortable with the recent happenings?will you still give BAT your full support? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by TrebleChamp(m): 5:27pm On May 24 |
MonsieurCoder:This was how larride wanted to bet that Obi will not win Lagos State in 2023, make una dey calm down. Nigerians will go out and vote like they did in 2023 and APC INEC will declare a different result like they did in 2023.. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by MonsieurCoder: 5:40pm On May 24 |
Bimmarlykay:If a governor is APC and supports APC it means APC will get more votes than if the governor did not support APC. It doesn't mean everybody in the state will vote APC. More governors/senators being APC since 2023 means BAT will get more votes in those states. It doesn't mean BAT will win those states. He already got the most votes with fewer governors. He will get more votes with more governors. Chikena. I'm pro Atiku but there is a part of me that thinks BAT is the lesser evil of the main candidates. He has failed woefully in security but his economic reforms have been absolutely spot on. As bad at BAT is, I'm not convinced any of the other candidates will be any better. Definitely not Peter Obi. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by MonsieurCoder: 5:43pm On May 24 |
TrebleChamp:I'm not larride. In 2027, PO will not get 25% of votes in 24 states PO will not get up to 6.1M votes PO will not get above 3rd position. Any of this you disagree, put your money on a bet. Offer open to everyone until election day. For him to win he has to do atleast 2 of the 3 things I outlined. Since you are convinced he can win, it should be easy to bet on 1 of the 3. Pick one. |

semid4lyfe:No that's not how it works. Rico beat the count. Secondly Rico was defending himself. Usyk hit Fury with an even more furious barrage in their fight and guess what the refs never stopped the fight. What's worse the stoppage came after the bell. There's a reason "saved by the bell" is a thing Rico was robbed |

Bombblacks:The fact that two judges had it tied is proof that boxing is full of monkey business. Usyk was behind and they had 2FA to rob Rico either way |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by OkpaNsukkaisBae(m): 7:44pm On May 24 |
izzou:Kudos to the Rangers players, management and coach. Winning away in Lagos against Ikorodu City wey dey top four no be moi moi. You're right, Enyimba prime days were under the administration of Orji Uzo Kalu who's a die hard football lover who invested and supported them in hiring competent coaches and signing quality players. They won five league titles under OUK. though the record set by Heartland FC of Owerri is still standing. They won four league titles consecutively.
