Please take her quickly to the hospital and ask how to prevent HIV for a toddler. I am very sorry. Ensure thay aunty and the husband are arrested. The father is very irresponsible. If he knows he cannot stay with his child, he ahould have let her stay with you. It is unadvisable these days to leave a child alone wjth others. Too much evil these days. Please ensure that man and his aunty are jailed and exposed. |

Op you are the first suspect in this matter. Why love your child with people... So there is an activity more important than holding on to your baby. |

FatherCHRISTMAS:She left the baby in care of her father... Who sent the child to his family member. Stop looking at how to pin the blame on the mother by all means. Even though she has been advised to be more careful with her child in the future! |

Update on the hospital. Yes it was confirmed that the evil man has been penetrating my girl but her hymen is intact... She also developed an infection from it which has been causing the discharge... She's been placed on medication. Tomorrow I'll going to ministry of women affairs with the doctor's report. I don't know if I should go to the police station first or the ministry. I already sent a copy of the results to her dad and he's been pleading with me. Telling me he thought I was joking. I already told him I'll be following up the case and make show his in-law is arrested. I feel terrible that I'll allowed my baby to go there, making her pass through all these. Please how do I handle the nightmares she's always having. It's always looking as if she's fighting with someone in her dreams and she'll wake up crying. Thank you everyone for your contributions I really appreciate. |

naniawini:Please go back to the hospital and ask them to refer you to a Child Psychologist (someone in Paediatrics or Psychiatry dept will know one). Go to the Ministry of Women Affairs first, try and get a lawyer and then go to the police. Please don't contact the Grandmother or Sister or any relative from his family to fight with, conserve your energy to getting justice for your child and for society. Please know that you did absolutely nothing wrong, you asked your child's father to take care of his blood and he decided to pass the responsibility to another person. That is NOT your fault, if you had kept the child from her father, the same people blaming you now will be abusing you and calling you every nasty name including "that gender". You even complained to the father when you found out he had dropped his child off with his sister and he refused to listen. That man did not protect his child and selfishly put his comfort before his child's safety. |

naniawini:Keep that child away from those who did this to her so she is not made worse. Second, get her to begin seeing a mental health care specialist immediately. Also, do your best to make your home environment as comfortable for that child as possible so as to help minimize anxieties. 😒 Do not let your ex and all those responsible for hurting this child's mind and body go scot-free. 😒 |

Kobojunkie:I'll do everything I can. The thought of it makes me want to rip out their throats... Tomorrow I'm going to ministry of women affairs cos I already have the medical report. |

This is just awful. How can a full grown man prey on a defenceless toddler? This is just so heartbreaking |

I already went to the hospital... The evil man has been trying to penetrate her but her hymen is intact but she developed an infection and she has been placed on treatment... We're still following up. I'm going to the ministry of women affairs this morning and I heard they have their lawyers... After that then I'll go to the police station to make a complaint. Thank you for your kind words. dawnomike: |

naniawini:Go to hospital and get your medical report after that, please involve the police. Spend your last penny to get to the root cause if this matter. |
| Re: Someone Abused My Toddler! by Yampotatocarrot(m): 2:15pm On May 26 |
Please, as you are reporting and all, get your story straight also In one place, you wrote he has been penetrating her and that's how she got the infection producing the discharge.. In another, you wrote he tried to penetrate her The question you'll be asked is, did he or did he not? If you don't get your story straight, you'll be surprised how their lawyer will tear you to pieces and turn the case against you... |
| Re: Someone Abused My Toddler! by Kobojunkie: 3:40pm On May 26 |
naniawini:If you are able to, please spend some time educating yourself on the female body so you have all the knowledge necessary to better understand the situation and argue better on behalf of your daughter in this. You are her voice, so please do your research, so you are better educated on her body and what the doctors, in fact, said happened to her. 😒 Also, like someone already said, do not leave that kid alone with any other untrusted individual until you are sure she is better healed from this. 😒 |
| Re: Someone Abused My Toddler! by Kobojunkie: 3:42pm On May 26 |
Yampotatocarrot:Good point! OP, read up on all medical details and terminologies used in the report so you understand what really happened to your child medically(and psychologically) and are better able to tell it on her behalf. You are her voice, and one of the worst things you could do is not do your due diligence going forward. 😒 |
