even in developed countries, there has never been a time people thought that having more than one car should be a reason to ban people from actually having more than one car. only people who are not well to do in life see a problem with this. instead of this, why dont you ask the govt to fix public transport infrastructure and then heavily tax people who have more than one. so because of decongestion, make we wey dey go work at 6am at opposite direction from my wife and kids, wait for them till they are probably ready around 8am? less privileged people have a very skewed way of thinking walahi. besides, the post said, one man one car, not one family one car.
one man can only drive one car at a time, but one man can have 5 cars that can be used at the same time as i stated above lol. In developed country the average person cannot afford to have more than 2 cars in the family. The insurance costs, car taxes and maintenance costs are not cheap

i lived on the island for 5 years, during school sessions there was usually traffic because of the extra cars taking kids to schools. when they were on term breaks traffic was minimal. its a thing lol

even China that has 1.4bn people did not even implement this kind of rule, talkless of Nigeria that is a fraction of its population, india sef did not do same. You cannot restrict people to having no more than one car. the only thing you can do is heavily tax people who want to have more than one car and there are people who are willing to pay heavy amounts for the convenience that having more than one car gives them... so this is quite not the ascertion one needs to be making..
