Without mincing words, I am an unabashed CR7 fan. With that said, I can't undermine the greatness and pure talents of Messi.
What I can't agree is anyone telling me Messi is greater or better than Ronaldo.
And honestly speaking, I can never tell anybody that Ronaldo is greater or better too. That's aside.

Whether you guys especially Messi fans believe it or not, those two guys are silently and privately pushing themselves to the limit with competing with themselves. CR7 for one doesn't hide his but Messi and his fans always wants us to believe he's not chasing records but just doing his thing.

This is not true- Ronaldo fans watered down the importance of the World Cup when Messi won it in 2022 even Ronaldo himself said it’s just a 6 game tournament as if the Euros was a 50 game tournament.

They were in denial for years and now that the World Cup is around the corner they are desperate for Ronaldo and Portugal to go and win it

How many people participated in that organized friendly match. world cup is for all continent and the best of best in each continent qualified. on a norm, is Portugal not bigger than Morocco in terms of players ratio but they lost to morocco in quarter final. at the moment, most defenders expecially top ones can't fear Ronaldo unlike before. watch euro and the nation league and you will understand better. Portugal have amazing players but they don't have a striker at the moment. that is the only department they lack. I see France winning the world cup and Spain another contender.
