Following Obi won't make him governor in Lagos, so why make such move?

National Democratic Congress (NDC) is the exact name and acronym of the ruling party in Ghana, which was formed in 1992!
And here in Nigeria, in 2026, you just copy the name verbatim as the name of your party without any adjustments whatsoever?

Commendable. About time political parties cultivate ideology and get their members locked in on them. Hopefully Peter Obi will remain in there and learn to manage people in a political party first before presenting himself as one capable of managing Nigeria.

It is better that there should be a signed agreement now before general election that anyone who decamp from the party would lose his or her seat immediately. This would be tenable in the future.
