Not new, they do the same thing in the North. Fear of starting over.

I told them that if we had things working in our country the way they should be, most of you wouldn’t be here.
There are Chinese, American, British, mention the country in Nigeria.

How reckless can one be

Is this marketing of Nigeria or demarketing.

A presidential candidate for that matter being loose always
I thought I was the only one who noticed this.
Re: Xenophobia: Many Nigerians Prefer To Die In South Africa Than Return Home — Obi by Clature: 1:36pm On May 26
I saw someone above asking if this is marketing or de-marketing Nigeria. I have always found this constant rhetoric to be very weird.

Why do we like to lie and pretend as though the country is good or moving forward? Why do we have an all round truth and acceptance problem? If the country were good the rhetoric will rarely be negative.

They said the first step towards change is acceptance. Therefore, Nigerians must continue to say it as it is everywhere, domestically and internationally until our leaders receive sense. So kudos to Peter Obi for saying it as it is though I am not one of his supporters.

Obi is just too emotional. Nothing presidential about him.

A man who governed a State for 8yrs, how is Anambra today.

Why are his people in Anambra relocating to other states for a greener pastures.

The truth is that obi cannot even win the presidential election.

He has no legacies, he doesn't even campaign or boast of his achievements as a governor for 8yrs.

Obi will be thought a lesson in 2027. He will understand politics come 2027.
To you,What is Politics??
People living in abject poverty each passing day or playing God in the life of the citizenry
You are here tackling your shadow and spewing thrash...
You are such a demonic fellow!

This is sad reality. Is not politics. Nigerians can endure and the harshest community anywhere in the World than return home.
Sometimes, this decision is because they fear returning with nothing.

South Africa bury the dead in Cemetery
They don't do it like Nigeria where you bury the dead in his village compound.

I'm SA, as a Foreigner you pay 4.8 million naira (3500$) For a burial spot in cemetery.

Then if you want to send the body back to Nigeria via flight is 6.8 million (5000$)

Compared to Nigeria where 2 million is enough for a standard burial unless you want to show off that you be Odogwu.

My only issue is
It is not honourable to be buried in the land of strangers.
The most befitting burial is the one where they are buried in their ancestors land their fore father land.
Your Ancestors will gladly receive you

But getting buried in a foreign land
You are detached from your Ancestors
You are now bonded with a hostile ancestors of the strange land.

That is why all big men make sure their body is laid to rest in the same soil his ancestors were layed in. That is the perfect ending.
WHat your brothers are doing is shameful. Because the blacks in SA did not build South Africa. Nigeria and other African countries fought for your independence. In fact, Nigeria has given SA up to $61bn in total.

Not that he cannot win, he can because some Nigerians are blinded or ignorant that obi is not capable of ruling Nigeria, obi is a pretender main looking at him you will know.

Right from day one 2023 general election, I knew that that man is riding on the ignorant minded Nigerians. The interesting thing is some so called educated people are pushing him on our face.

Obi cannot campaign with his legacy in anambra, the only thing he campaign with is saving state money meant for infrastructural and economical development in 3 different bank.

He exposed himself by telling Nigerians the amount of money he saved, mind you in this 3 banks. It was round figure, 12billion naira and 50 million dollars. Same amount in all 3 banks. No kobo, no hundreds. Abeg make go sidan one place

Tinubu gave Lagos a poverty rate of 69%.

Now he's president, he is spreading the poverty nationwide.
You say Tinubu gave Lagos poverty but just 3 years after Tinubu's administration in Lagos, people Obi ruled for were crying when they got kicked out of Lagos.

So many Americans would rather die in other countries than return to Trump's USA or USA at all. It is CALLED...they have built a life over there, married, maybe already have children...children go to school and have friends. It is not an indictment on the country of birth. This dude is so shallow minded. grin grin grin What would they come to in Nigeria? Some of them cannot trust relatives, and some have been burned by relatives. Some have sold properties to japa to South Africa. Some have businesses in South Africa...will Peter Obi give them his NEXT Cash and Carry shops for trading? Lol
