My experience after meeting The Former Governor Of Ogun Today! by Iamdbull(op): 7:13pm On May 26
So today I was back at home for the ileya and Ojude Oba fiesta, and I was cooling it at Conference hotel in ijebu ode, which happens to be one of the intra-state franchise of hotels that belongs to Otunba Gbenga Daniel, former governor of Ogun state and soon to be former member of senate.

The place was empty as usual, now being a shadow of itself due to the obvious economic crumble brought about by you know who.

That’s how I ran into him, the Otunba Gbenga Daniel himself, he was there for renovations of the hotel. At first I thought it was due to the upcoming festivities but then later I learnt from close sources that it’s largely due to the fact that he’s not going for senate again and no more access to the political cake, he has come to put all hands on deck to run his business.

Being the busy body that I am, I couldn’t just sit alone in a bar with a prominent person like that and not try to initiate something, that’s how I decided to use my wisdom and look for some possible improvements that could be done to the hotel that was already in a dwindling state.

Then I muster some courage to walk up to him and then I proceeded to tell him about my observation, he was happy to listen and even called the manager of the hotel.

Now I told him my observation about the gym that was no longer functioning again and I told him how it usually draw people to other parts of the hotel, and I also told him about the boutique inside the hotel where they hardly make up to 5 sales yearly. I told him the kind of people that frequent such hotels are yahoo boys and the boutique inside is selling shirt and tie.

Like magic he immediately made a phone call and ordered two giant sized thread mill, for those of you in ijebu ode the conference gym is about to start functioning soon and also he visited the boutique immediately, my plan was to start supplying them with clothes from my clothing company Maldives clothing.

After everything he thanked me and I asked for pictures but he refused saying he’s working after work he will meet me.

Now that’s when my mum know she will be disturbing me for my car that need to carry something from one place to another. I had no choice than to leave without seeing him.

My major deduction from this encounter now is that now that the politics money is no longer running in and he’s now focus on making money from the hotel, he will start feeling the effect of the bad economy on Nigerians as he wouldn’t be able to get the needed patronage.

Thanks for reading so sorry no pictures of us together, the only evidence is his wifi that was showing while with him.

All these boyz...you met a rich politician, who listened and acted on your advice instantly and all you wanted wasa picture with him?

If someone acts on your advise, they see you as valuable and knowledgeable but the only oppprtunity tik tok generation knows is to pose for a picture??

How does your evidence of meeting him improve your life? Even a poor man's wisdom is despised,
...oga you know not how to go the market...

Let me ask for forgiveness from ALMIGHTY GOD. Gbenga Daniel is different from them
I'm not from Ogun state but going by the achievements he had as a Governor and senator I must seek forgiveness from ALMIGHTY GOD.
