Oyo Governorship Race: Why Accord Party Disqualified Oriyomi & Gudugudu by Detailednews(op): 12:57pm On May 27
BREAKING: Oyo Gov Race Blown Wide Open! The Real Reason Accord Party Just Disqualified Oriyomi & Gudugudu Will Shock You!

PROF. CHRIS IMUMOLEN, the Authentic National Chairman of Accord, has officially nullified the shameful and controversial governorship primaries conducted in Oyo State, insisting that neither Oriyomi Hamzat nor Olakunle “Gudugudu” Busari is the valid gubernatorial candidate of the Accord Party.

The emergence of two different candidates from the same faction is a clear indication of the confusion, greed, money politics, and lack of leadership capacity within the Maxwell–Ajaja led faction of Accord. It is embarrassing that the illegally imposed National Chairman and National Secretary, driven by personal interests and desperation for financial gains, could not put their house together, thereby exposing the party to public ridicule by producing parallel candidates from the same process.

This unfortunate development has further confirmed what party loyalists have continued to say — that the Maxwell and Ajaja faction lacks legitimacy, discipline, and the moral standing to manage the affairs of a national political party.

Prof. Chris Imumolen stated that the disgraceful drama witnessed in Oyo State will not go unchecked, as the party under the authentic national leadership has already constituted a disciplinary committee to thoroughly investigate the actions of Maxwell and Ajaja, whose conduct has brought embarrassment and dishonour to the Accord Party nationwide.

The authentic leadership of the party also reaffirmed that a fresh, transparent, credible, and unified governorship primary election will soon be conducted to produce the rightful candidate that will genuinely represent the interests of Accord members and the people of Oyo State.

The Accord Party remains committed to internal democracy, justice, and the rule of law, and will not allow selfish individuals to destroy the image and integrity built by genuine party stakeholders over the years.

Muktar Abdallah
National Secretary

How come you're not united in this course.

I don't even know why and when to serve the people is by force, if truly you want to serve the people, you can be sweeping the communities among othes things.

Meanwhile, each party should beware someone in Ondo state that fought the party he was till the election eve but later said he purposely did that, when he eventually moved to his destination.

Sharafadeen Alli is the next governor of Oyo state. Even, Seyi Makinde knows this. Every other contestants just want to upgrade their political CV as party gubernatorial candidate.

PDP has done eight years, it's time for another party and APC seems formidable so PDP has to go back to opposition
Also, Alli is the heir of Ladoja political structure, Ladoja who is loved by many is the sitting Olubadan
APC being the party at the center accepted by Olubadan will favour his emergence.

So , Alli is the next governor. A easy ride even.

Now Alhaji oriyomi has learn his lessons in a hard way, I could remember vividly when a caller was advising him on one of his program on his radio station not to venture into politics, especially Nigerian politics, if you see the way he responded to the man, It was like the man was asking him to let go of his birthrights.

As much as I support Asiwaju, let him speak to Bandits in the language they understand. He has most state Governors in his party now, why are they dragging their feet on state police?

For the Yoruba states, he could work with private security outfits like OPC and Iru ekun. We also have a government established one Amotekun, yet we still blame opposition politicians for our Insecurity.

School children and teachers are still in kidnappers den, suffering and getting molested and yet we haven't heard about any plans to rescue them, All these people care about is politics and how to enrich themselves.

How any sensible adult in Oyo state can be comfortable going to sleep while kids as little as 2 and 4 years old are spending their nights under such conditions is beyond me.
Re: Oyo Governorship Race: Why Accord Party Disqualified Oriyomi & Gudugudu by opes: 2:08pm On May 27
The target is Oriyomi Hamzat, they don’t want him on the ballot. He has a fair supporters particularly among Class D and E voters, and they believe he will split the votes because he left the PDP to contest under Accord.
Who is Gudugudu? A Seyi Makinde loyalist… hmmm.
They are playing the game locally, yet they always accuse the APC of not wanting opposition parties on the ballot.

SMHFU! We say this same thing against Jonathan in 2014. It doesn't matter who or where the sponsors are coming from. What matter's is who's at the helm of the country. The bucks stops at his desk.
