Okowa lost his so called popularity in 2023. He managed to squeeze the votes out of Deltans to secure the governorship for Sheriff in 2023, just the night before the election. Sheriff would have lost the governorship after the defeat of Okowa during the presidential election.

Next was Nwoko who collaborated with Okowa in Delta north. He also managed, as Delta north was an LP controlled area and the LP senatorial candidate, Ken Kanma, lost by a very slim margin, going by the courts. He is waiting to get his pound of flesh under NDC. Do not forget that Okowa and Ibori led Sheriff and the entire PDP structure to APC. The same PDP is factionalized and a part of the faction is waiting to stop APC in 2027. If APC fails to address the Ned Nwoko question, know that he will get his supporters to vote for the NDC candidate, thereby stopping Okowa from winning the election in 2027. That will be his joker.

Again, Ned Nwoko has been a strong agitator for Anioma state creation. Okowa plays politics with it and does not view it strongly. That may count against Okowa in Delta north, as most of the people are in strong support for the creation of a new state to add the the SE states.

Reason y i tell u should rest. Anioma is an abbreaviation that is the first letters of all LGA in Delta north. Okowa is from IkA and is gazzetted in the Delta state govt website. Okowa just played on igbos emotions to get votes. When the Apc primary came up he had to change cause that anioma issue wont fly. One thing u guys self dont know that area Delta north is not made up of a homogenous group. Ika dont see themselves as 1 people with Enuani or Ndokwas. U guys should allow d people be u cannot know a people history more than themselves.

The marginalisation the igbo nation are suffering today is even largely caused by a man from anioma called nzeogu if he didn't identify as igbo with an igbo name I don't think the north would have retaliated by massacring millions of innocent igbos in the north so my advice to u guys is to stop answering igbo names so that the real igbos won't suffer such misfortune again when someone from anioma bearing igbo names go and commit a crime in other regions in nigeria.

No one said nobody is agiating for it. What i mean is nobody is desperate. Even d Uhrobo are for waddo state not etiope arre not desperate and even if they get it e no change anything. Delta is not made up of only uhrobos we have ijaws, iteshikiris and even isoko.

Uhrobo leaders are complaining bitterly that they are the largest oil and gas producers in delta state but their resources are being used to develop other areas in delta without any resources I have listened to some of them speak on radio here in warri so yes they are very desperate to create their own state.

Yes am not from delta state but I was born and grew up here so I know exactly what is going on here including their politics. I didn't say uhrobos are the largest ethnic group in nigeria i said their leaders claimed in a radio program here in warri that uhrobos produces the largest oil and gas in delta state but they are not enjoying it.
