Nigeria’s Challenges Surmountable – Sanusi by iwaeda(op): 5:02pm On May 27
Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has assured Nigerians that the country’s security and economic challenges are not insurmountable, urging both leaders and followers to play their roles in finding lasting solutions.

‎Speaking during the Sallah durbar in Kano on Wednesday, the emir said Nigeria is facing serious challenges in security, the economy, and social cohesion, but expressed confidence that “by the grace of God, there will be solutions as long as leaders ensure justice and followers support them.”

‎Sanusi, who led the Eid prayer at the Kano Central Eid ground in Kofar Mata, reminded Muslims of the importance of slaughtering a sacrificial ram, describing it as an act of worship that draws servants closer to God.

He also encouraged them to extend a helping hand to the needy.

‎Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, his deputy Murtala Sule Garo, and several top government officials were in attendance.

‎The emir further urged citizens to return to the Almighty by doing what He likes and avoiding anything that could lead to His wrath.

He stressed that God has promised not to change people’s predicament unless they themselves also change.

‎He called on Nigerians to respect national laws, pay greater attention to education, and prioritise the upbringing of cchildren

He also appealed for continued support to security personnel in their fight against insecurity.

‎After leading the prayers, Sanusi mounted his horse and rode from the palace to the Eid ground and back, in line with tradition.

The durbar procession attracted large crowds of residents and visitors.

‎For the first time in recent years, the emir is also scheduled to host other major Sallah durbars including Hawan Nassarawa, Hawan Daushe, Hawan Fanisau, and Hawan Dorayi, which are expected to further showcase Kano’s rich cultural heritage.

‎In the last two years, the emirate did not witness Sallah durbar due to a crisis between Sanusi and Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, 15th Emir of Kano.

Nigeria Ranks 1 In Global Extreme Poverty For 2026

Poverty has been used as a tool to manipulate the masses. How do we fix the problem of poverty in Nigeria?

This is saying a lot without saying anything. No specifics. Leaders should ensure justice and followers should support them. What does that mean in Nigeria?
Re: Nigeria’s Challenges Surmountable – Sanusi by anonimi: 6:57am On May 28
Indeed the problems are surmountable, and we were on the right path with PDP privatisation and deregulation policies driven prosperity, peace and security until 2015.

That year, Tinubu conned us into allowing Buhari to be president, four years after calling him expired. Can anyone imagine that Tinubu bragged about going to Kaduna to beg Buhari to be president and make Jonathan a one term president, so he can get his own turn after eight years of wrecking Nigeria?

Is anyone else more wicked and more selfish than Tinubu in our country? Who is this person huh

Call the bandit in Aso Villa, it's USA president thousands of miles away that is securing Nigerians 🤷🏿.
Re: Nigeria’s Challenges Surmountable – Sanusi by Reference(m): 7:02am On May 28
Regime after regime we keep on talking about surmounting challenges. Challenges we never seem to be able to surmount. The same challenges every time.

Yet we go to the polls, vote, rejoice in the election of our choices yet the challenges persist and in most cases worsen...and we feel we are consistently doing the right thing...I just do not understand.

How can a people feel they are right when it is clear even to them that they are patently wrong. What is wrong with us. Why can't we simply make this democracy work to better our lives...not as individuals but as a people, a nation.

Is right thinking and right action simply beyond the Nigerian.

Unfortunately, Atiku and ADC won’t be on the ballot next year.

Amupitan’s INEC and Wike’s courts are doing an amazing job of keeping the party out of our political space.

Atiku is also not helping himself and our country with his needless arrogance that chased Kwankwaso and Obi out of their coalition, after his ill thought out interview.

Wike Boasts Of Helping APC Use Judiciary To Kill Osun LG Funds Case, Warns Party Leaders Against Ingratitude

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has openly boasted that he assisted certain elements within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in deploying the judiciary to frustrate the Osun State local government allocation lawsuit.

In a video now circulating widely on social media and obtained by SaharaReporters, Wike made the claim while addressing a crowd in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The former Rivers governor accused the APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, of benefitting from judicial actions against the Osun State Government without knowing those who did the work behind the scenes.

The suit in question led to the withholding of local government funds in Osun State, a development widely seen as targeting the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke as opposition in the state.

Wike, who spoke angrily, suggested that the court action supporting the APC’s position against the Osun government did not happen by chance, boasting that powerful political forces worked quietly to ensure the outcome.

“Don’t take our support for Mr President for granted,” Wike warned, in an apparent message to APC leaders defending Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara. “You have to be careful about the statements you make. You have to be very careful.”

He accused Basiru of political ingratitude, claiming the APC was enjoying in Osun State without understanding who engineered their advantage.

“Today, you are enjoying in Osun. You don’t know those who did the work,” Wike said. “You are opening your mouth to talk about Rivers State.”

What reform exactly?

The insecurity challenges that have overwhelmed the security forces?

The inflation rate that have gone over the roof?

The reckless borrowing without despite subsidy removal on fuel, electricity ⚡, dollar gas etc?

Tell us what the reform has yielded pls.

The economic reforms that has elevated the naira. Placed Nigeria in a position where investors can easily be talked to and also allows the world bank to have confidence in the country.

About insecurities, these people did the same thing in 2014 to oust GEJ. Created boko haram and started kidnapping kids in the school and the likes of Aisha Yusuf championed that moment to drag GEJ out of office. And today, she wants to be a politician.

Insecurity in Nigeria is politically motivated and can't be solved by a president. The same act formed to destroy your government.
Re: Nigeria’s Challenges Surmountable – Sanusi by Tenses: 7:40am On May 28
Yes, the insecurity challenges as well as economy and other ones are very much surmountable.

It's only incompetent leaders like tinubu that make them look like they are insurmountable.

A new Nigeria is POssible.

In what way has the imaginary reforms elevated the naira?
How much is the exchange rate as we speak and what is the purchasing power of the naira? Can you mention any tangible thing you can purchase with 100 naira?
Seems you don't even know the meaning of the word 'elevation'.

How many investors can you visibly count on ground since the beginning of this balablu maladministration, except the lies you were told on the pages of news paper and social media.

How many investors will risk their hard earned funds in an economy characterised with uncertainty and security challenges?

Talking about security challenges, this is not the time for excuses and blame games. Tinubu once said 'the bulk stop at the president's table'.

He is the commander in chief of the armed forces and his primary and basicresponsibility as a leader is to protect the lives and properties of the citizens.

Wether the insecurity is politically motivated, economically motivated or religiously motivated is non of our business. He should figure out how to find a lasting solution to the security challenges or get the f$ck off!

Surmountable only by doing the right thing which we hardly do.

We talk and do eyeservice rather than real work and accountability.

Though he isn't specific but we can only agree fixing Nigeria isn't rocket science and no government officials be it past or present should tell you or made you believe that Nigeria problem is insurmountable, we just have to get the leaders who are ready to put in the work and will not shy away from doing it.

I'll not hope to see the Nigeria of our dreams, I'll put in the work to ensure it comes to pass, that should be at the minds of every one of us be it leaders or followers.

Right leader ko wrong leaders ni.
Sanusi better tell his tribes me to desist from terrorism. What can a right leader under a wrong constitution. What can a right leader do with a sharia constitution.
Nigeria should break up.

Truth is the problems are insurmoutable as one Nigeria. They are, however, surmountable if the country is divided.

Divide Nigeria now and save lives!

The previous government subsidized almost everything. The original price of naira was subsidized.

The previous government borrowed to pay for you to live easily while other criminals stole that comfort from Nigerians.

If there was no subsidy in the previous government, you wouldn't be sounding like a novice.

But since you're good at criticizing and not read news, you get your head filled with anything that's against the government.

I bet you, even if Peter Obi becomes a president today, if your expectations fall short, you will criticize him within looking towards the reforms and policies placed

You can only try, but you cannot successfully defend this failed government because the incompetence in visible even to the blind.

What is the result of the subsidy this administration is bragging about? Subsidy is gone yet we are still borrowing recklessly. We still borrow far more than when we are paying for subsidy.

What a shame!

The good thing is, we are all feeling the heat together. Even the you that is backing this terrible government, you are feeling it hot hot except you want to decieve yourself.

No body is against subsidy removal, we are only against reckless borrowing in the face of subsidy, we are against inflation, we are against insecurity.
By the way, who told you I support obi? Wetin concern me with me with obi
