Why? Because they have a good legitimate reason to.

When they see a plain-as-day compromising or fumbling development from their espoused position (APC/BAT in your case), they remain MUTE. They don't say a single WORD. You know why? Defending the indefensible draws more attention to the unfortunate situation thus perpetuating the loses such a situation engenders. They only come.out fighting on positive development AND other developments that can be ARGUED. Not situations that are hopeless (as this is). Just do your research on this. It baffled me to see that human beings are still praising this govt even when it is clear that it has failed. No matter how much they are paid to defend these nonsense, don't they have the fear of God? We are wiser now. Everyday we hear different sad news and when it is time for campaign, they will promise us heaven and earth. I started hearing promises like steady power supply, good pipe borne water, security of Life and properties, free and good medical care etc when I was a child and till today, they haven't changed format. People are being slaughtered on a daily basis and the govt is busy seeking for reelection. It shows that they don't care about us rather than their selfish interests. It is high time we start holding them accountable.
And to all of us, when govt do well let's praise and encourage them and when they don't, we criticize them. Let's not allow religion, tribe, party,and hatred to overshadow our reasoning.
