You can check Google, APC actually suspended Omo Agege a month after the elections for anti party activities. It was widely reported by reputable news medium.

When you are the Gubernatorial aspirant of a party in an election, you are automatically one of the leaders of the party especially in state where you are the opposition. When Sheriff came into APC, he met some party structure on ground with Omo Agege controlling Delta Central region, as one of the leader of the party he should easily be getting senate seat in the region he control except they hijack the party structure away from him. Just because Sheriff and Efe are from the same town means nothing really, in fact that should've worked against Efe if not that Omo Agege don mess for shop. He handpicked almost all the candidates for Delta Central in 2023, today none of his loyalist including himself were able to get anything.

Look at what happened in Ogun State primaries, when Ogun APC announced consensus candidates for the 3 senate seat, it was Dapo for Ogun East, Salisu for Ogun Central and Mrs Noimot, Dapo deputy was announced as Ogun West candidate.

Before the primaries, Mrs Noimot dey follow Yayi everywhere he dey go thinking the coast is clear for her to replace Yayi as Ogun West senator. On the day of the primaries, Yayi raised the hand of Ojugbele as the preferred candidates with the notion that Dapo can't be a senator and his deputy will be a senator also when they are not the only one in the state. Ojugbele won that primaries with large margin.

Don't forget that it's the same Dapo that announced Yayi as the consensus candidate for the party.

Long story short, when you have different power brokers in the party, the Governor will have to horse trade and give some leeway. In this case, they took everything from Omo Agege because he don mess up. That's the bigger picture I'm painting for you.

There is a difference between movies where they just go in and capture the criminals in a day and real life. The most important thing is for the victims to be rescued alive and every hand is on deck to ensure that. I am certain Jonathan who you seem to be aggrieved on his behalf sef would have forgotten what the beef is all about
