Civil servants make up less than 1% of the population of each state. Yet they take up more than 70% of each states resources. And we don't think anything is wrong with this? |
| Re: I’m Happy States No Longer Struggle To Pay Salaries – Tinubu by Macphenson: 7:40am On May 30 |
Just imagine what this clueless President is saying. Children are being molested and held captive in Oyo state, but he is not bothered. No rescue mission since the incident took place. No state is borrowing to pay salaries while you borrow away out future with only 17% capital project implementation. Tinubu is the S.I. unit of failure in governance and administration. |

This PR thingy must be run by the most clueless and mentally obtuse individuals on earth, because what is this? Is it supposed to be an achievement? On a second thought, I don't blame them because it must be hard defending the indefensible, there is actually nothing to show off as an achievement. |

This one grabbed power to grab and share money ONLY. Other issues don't matter to him. Security - zero, Dev. - zero, Health - zero, Education - zero, Infrastructure - Lagos, Economy - zero, politics - full-time. |

Macphenson:You people claiming opposition are just not brilliant at all. Same lame empty story. How’s he not bothered? Nah by words dem go recover those kids? The kids you're referring to would soon gain freedom, no be by making noise.. That being said, are you not happy that states are no longer borrowing to pay salaries? I won’t be surprised if you’re sad that states are no longer paying salaries, but that’s your own personal problem.. All of una propaganda towards tinubu never worked out till date. Why? Cuz you people are just empty. Una go try taya and nah still failure go end ham! |

PulaPower:Am not happy that Bola Ahmed Tinubu has borrowed more than any sitting President even after removing subsidy, yet his capital project implementation is at abysmal 17% |

Dogalmighty17:I stopped engaging obedients on this forum long ago because debating them is no more productive than arguing with a tree. However, this particular comment ranks among the most intellectually bankrupt comments I've seen this year. You claim civil servants constitute less than 1% of the population. You are clearly unaware that these civil servants have spouses, children and other dependants who make up a significant portion of the rest population. That level of reasoning is truly remarkable. Also, which statistical agency informed you that civil servants consume over 70% of state's resources? And since when did the existence of civil servants become the creation of the current government? |

Dogalmighty17:A lot is wrong we agree but now isnt the right time to attempt to downsize the workforce considering the tough economic situation we are in ....I laugh when people say Nigerian govt doest give any welfare to its citizens,I tell people that there are so many people under govt payroll getting paid for doing nothing, that in itself is welfare. |

Macphenson:You typing all this gibberish, how many of your life goals have you been able to achieve at your age,do you have all your boxes ticked 100%......Nigeria is still a work in progress under tinubu and we know he will leave Nigeria better than he met it. |

Macphenson:Why are you crying more than the bereaved? Is your State Oyo State? |

Is that an achievement Mr Tinubu, you are a total failure, most of us in this country that you have caused so much pain stand against your reelection and so shall it stand |
| Re: I’m Happy States No Longer Struggle To Pay Salaries – Tinubu by ibabz(m): 10:27am On May 30 |
States are not struggling to pay salaries because wage pressures have already been significantly reduced. Minimum wage was over $100 in 2023 before you assumed office, but today it is effectively less than $50. So there is nothing particularly spectacular in the current situation. You can only convince the gullible, not anyone who thinks critically and analyses issues properly |

Lithiumite:And when they ask you to list his achievements you will start mentioning Nelfund and coastal road. |
| Re: I’m Happy States No Longer Struggle To Pay Salaries – Tinubu by Macphenson: 11:04am On May 30 |
EmiloCorn:That's simply the difference between you and I. I don't need to be from Oyo before I will cry for those kids. Am a father and I can't imagine my kids going through that hell, dead body go surplus. But unfortunately you guys are heartless so it doesn't bother you. |

ibabz:Which givt have you supported in the past that brought NELFUND and coastal road and funding it adequately.? Its ok for students abroad to get educational loans, you hail tbeir system for being the best but its bad for nigerian students to enjoy such from their govt. Coastal road was muted by the gej govt but they lacked the political will and funds to run it but tinubu has cone and tbat dream is becoming reality,Sokoto-Badagry was conceived by the shagari govt about 4 decades ago but no govt could bring it to fruition but this same tinubu you love to hate is bringing that same dream to reality but you obidient haters see nothing good but you will use the same insfrastructure if you had the chance.......quitvthe hypocrisy, this vike attitude won't make obi president. |

Alright, let's just have a quick look at this. Absolutely fantastic. The government is clearly making a huge splash with this new initiative. It's all about boosting morale and ensuring a smooth ride for everyone. A little boost, really. |

What are the workers producing? If they are truly productive, let their effort cover at least 50% of their salary. |

| Re: I’m Happy States No Longer Struggle To Pay Salaries – Tinubu by Hedonisco: 3:32pm On May 30 |
This man is irritating beyond words. Your useless policies caused galloping inflation, where the N35, 000 minimum wage you met is effectively worth more than N150, 000 today in purchasing power, but you deceptively 'reduced' the minimum wage to less than half of what it is (N70, 000), and then celebrate that governors are paying peanut salaries. What kind of voodoo economics is this that this irritant is working with? |
| Re: I’m Happy States No Longer Struggle To Pay Salaries – Tinubu by TheFreshVanilla: 3:32pm On May 30 |
So payment of salaries that workers are entitled to is now an achievement? This man does not deserve a second term. |
