What do you think would have been the response of the southwest if this happened during GEJ's time. Imagine the abysmal level security has sank from 2015 to date.
I agree that things have gotten worse, in all ramifications.

And I agree that, unfortunately, the Southwest would have been at the forefront of protests against GEJ.

But if we are sincere to ourselves, 50% of the criticism against bat is also from the Southwest. It is just that those who would have 'funded' protests have been cornered by bat.

He has always been a tribal bigot. I’m sure if the kids in this context are Ibo kids, he wouldn’t reacted this way. Nothing surprising here. Nah their way..

If you wanna call our government, call out government… But why mocking innocent kids?
He is married to a woman named Lola, that means his kids are Yoruba , ouch! I know that will hurt you. Ogbeni, jump of you tribal high horses and face the truth.

If you look at these children’s faces and all you see is Yoruba then there is something potentially wrong with you.

I agree, but it’s not up to 50% and the little percentage is not nearly enough. If looking at the faces of those children in captivity does not trigger a protest in the west then , BAT did not only buy their body he also paid for their souls and conscience.

So, it will be truth also to mock calamities that struck in East too? Anyway, everybody no go ever be like una. Yes, MR. P is right
I am not an Easterner but a Niger Deltan. Also I think it's insensitive for Mr. P to repost that tweet because humanity comes first before tribe or religion.

But what other calamity do you think can befall the Easterners that could be bigger than the pogroms that Nigerian government executed during the civil war between 1967-1970?

It's a good time to say this since the anniversary is here. I watches some old videos and selected newspaper paper clips on a private online channel about the war. Any human will be moved to tears. I hope we all heal and allow peace to reign 🕊️

Okay, so let’s start celebrating when yoruba people get kidnapped and beh3aded, that will get him to resign, and when Yoruba people see that, they’d want to vote an igbo candidate.

What a high IQ. Excellent
Don't blame opposition for taking advantage they haven't don't 20% of what APC did with Chibok girls issue

What do you think APC would have done if 42 ijaw kids was kidnapped under Jonathan

Stop being a hypocrite
Re: Peter Okoye Retweets Post Mocking Victims Of The Oyo Kidnapping by Idaytesj29(m): 10:10am On May 30
What can Peter Obi do better? Will he shoot the bandits himself?
He still remains a tribal candidate and nothing changes. He is never becoming our president.

Now or later, whether this president or the other, insecurity will get solved.

I haven't watched the video of the beheaded teacher but like they said, they better die than Peter Obi to be president so why are they angry about psquare post.

For those tagging me, i have voice my thoughts about the killings, i don't care again. Nigeria happen to me too.

If you cannot call a spade a spade then anything you see take it. If you cannot condemn the killings, attacking psquare is turning your eye away from evils.

Many Nigerian were surprised as Peter Okoye retweeting a post that appears to mock people who lost their lives in Ibadan is deeply troubling.

Many Nigerian believe Tragedy should never be turned into content for clout or political point-scoring. Using the misfortune of others to push an agenda only reflects how low and insensitive one can be. Lives were lost. Families are grieving. This is a time for empathy, not mockery.

Public figures like Peter okoye must understand the weight of their actions silence is sometimes better than harmful engagement. Humanity should always come before politics.

interestingly in 2015, the APC campaigned with the trauma of the Chibok girls, kinda like this. It was campaign then, and rallying for 'change'. I'd say the ADC and NDC should do same, and not a private citizen. That way it can be termed campaign, just as the APC did, and anyone who wants to hit their head on a brickwall can do so.

People have been slaughtered almost on a daily from the north, down to the middle-belt, and now down to SW starting with the Owo massacre, but at the core of it no one truly cares. Just some outrage on social media for 24-48hrs and everyone moves on to their default state, thoughts, positions. All of a sudden we are forming fake care this time yet again, none of you care. All of us are looking out for just ourselves. Fasoranti's daughter was killed, and the then national chairman of the APC said where are the cows. Las Las even the father no care about the daughters death due to his own interest. Cos someone who cares won't have said that, and a father who cared wouldn't have appreciated someone saying that about his slain daughter. Las Las Ojude oba continued yesterday despite that Awujale throne is vacant, cos people care more about taking pictures than solemn admittance that things are bleeped and this is just not the time. No one cares, you are just pretending to.

The ADC and NDC should use all this as campaign bites. The APC did it and it was welcome, they can too.

Its not about tribalism. Its about doing the right thing at all times.APC did far worse during the Dr Goodluck Jonathan's presidency. It is amazing that oppositions put together have not done 10% of what APC did.Wheter Tinubu likes or not,he must leave that sit come 2027.Insha Allah

I DO NOT SUPPORT WHAT HE POSTED but you guys have always praised EVERY action of the government, from pardoning terrorists angry , negotiating with them, up to the point of advocating for them as your brothers through the NSA.

At least, you guys should criticize the people in Government when you see that they are towing the wrong path.

Go on social media platforms...

Some of the most critical voices are from the Southwest... I am not talking about senseless insults or abuses... I am referring to proper critiques about the failures of bat.

Also, we need to understand that bat has no qualms using violence to frustrate protests. So people need to be careful.

The biggest protest is by voting out bat and protecting those votes.

What concern Peter òbí with this conversation..... Was Peter òbí the only opposition during last election? What gave you the assurance that he would do better based on his performance as a governor? Is it possible the whole country unanimously vote for a candidate (Peter Obi as u preferred)?..... It baffles me when tragedy happens and you lots start playing the narratives that the victims deserve it because your favorite did not win... How sure are you that all the victims voted for Tinubu? Let address issue with common sense abeg

but this is not mockery, but he is only saying the truth that looks like mockery by calling the government and the citizens, remembering everybody that elections has consequences.
if the government is rightly doing their job nobody will be aggrieved nor criticise the government, but applaud them.
it's sad and amusing the way some people wants Nigerians to be silent in the face of this government' ineptitude and cluelessness resulting to existential threats to Nigerians .
T-pain said worse things to PDP government in the past..

Call it anything you like but what Peter Okoye said is the absolute truth. Voting has consequences and this is one of it. I'm from a south south state so maybe I'm a bigot too.

Y'all don't like to hear the truth because it appears anyone saying anything clear as crystal against the happenings and bad policies of the government is from the East. Someone said BAT winning is more important that all the killings happening that they can't be distracted yet no one calls for his head. You voted Calamity and Want Peace? Economic Realities is not Propaganda.

Till this Day, BAT only compared the security challenges as an Animal swapping a human. Very incoherent as he always has been when it's election time but specialist in rigging and dolling out bad policies.

See these attempt at trying to spin the narratives to position Obi as a tribal candidate is too stale, just look for another format that can stick not this one. People are angry with this govt.
