This is the problem with your kind. You hate the fact that your analysis can go both ways.

if northerners decide we want our land back from Anambra and Enugu, we will win.

Don't start what you cant finish.
Or you terrorize them ba like Iranian mullah?

Agbor and Onitsha were tiny villages when Arochukwu was a city state
If you understand the history of the Arochukwu
you will almost weep

The Arochukwu are the main reason why Igboland never reached the Ocean.
They did it to keep hold of their dominance of the Slave Trade in Igboland

No other reason than that
They Just refused to consider what could be beneficial for their future Generations.
While others were fighting to secure Sea Coast for their descendants
the Arochukwu are drove away even their own people who were willing to settle there

If they had the means, they would have controlled at least one port. Who wants others to dictate to them on who to trade with? Therefore it was not that easy back then. Arochukwu gained more by cooperating with everybody. The Ijaw were well armed, the Efik and etc too were well armed and the Igbo villages though numerous were not interested in joining together to fight anybody and they certainly did not see the Arochukwu as their capital. The Aro however prospered by controlling the flow of trade from the hinterland to the ports while the coastal people controlled the trade with the Europeans. The capital of the Aro had a population of over 50k people before colonisation
