It seems the people of the Southwest are aware of the people who carry out the kidnappings but still allow them to live amongst them. They are even given traditional titles.

That means na family affair. No wonder Tinubu isn't bothered.

Toh make una enjoy
Their is always a bad egg among eggs, So dont assume people are aware of the kidnappers around, thats not true

Where we failed as a community is we worship money no one question your source we just adore Money ... You dont even know what your neighbour does for real

What i agree to is that, Kidnapping is now a business enterprise, Yorubas and Igbos are now involved, they probably coordinate the Fulani/Hausas as foot soldiers ... Southwest esp. Yoruba are biggest snitches if we know yu are into crime esp. Life threatening

His son is and the man clearly stated that he's aware his son is a kidnapper. Why would the community allow the son to settle back there after his crimes?
The son served his punishment for the crime. By law, the community could not have evicted him when he returned. Sorry. But I understand your sentiments. Let's hope he receives the max sentence for kidnapping in Ogun this time.

But the titled man in the story is not the kidnapper. So what are you saying?

So Olubode Ojajuni is now CP in Ogun. Trying to recall if he was PRO in Lagos before or after Mr Mba.
the problem with you guys is that you see those actually poking at your eyes with sharp sticks but you still continue making technicalities and excuses for them. Make una continue

He's aware his son went to jail for kidnapping. Doesn't make him a kidnapper.

The police should find out if he knew his son continued the business after he returned from jail. If he did and failed to report, maybe they can charge him for something.

What is the police congratulating themselves for? They arrested innocent people while bala the kidnapper ran away into the bush. They should go and look for the bala and release the innocent man and his 1st son.

Why will they send kidnappers to prison instead of ending them instantly

How many of the kidnappings una don solve?. Anyways, I wish you guys all the best in your servitude. Reminds me of a tweet from one of you guys some years ago. The guy said, “he’d rather the fulanis kidnap and kpai all of you than for an Igbo man to become president”..

Of the Police had killed him, na same nna go de shout jungle justice, you all don't know what you want.
They police did their job, arrested him, prosecuted and the judge gave him 5 years. Case closed.
5 years is less than 3 years counting from the date of arrest

The punishment for kidnapping under the law should be reviewed.
Supported. Death sentence should be more appropriate

Sincerely, that's crazy to imagine...it shows the extreme level of tolerance by the Yorubas. How dare the community allow such family to continue living amongst them.

For some of una mind, una get sense. When will this servitude end?. The son went to jail for Kidnapping but he’s not a Kidnapper?. Someone went to prison for stealing but he’s not a thief?😂. Una sophistication no be here ooo bro.

Walahi, Nigeria is not a serious country.
..a man with 4 wives and 30 children then why won't the children go into criminal activities and kidnapping

When he will find it very difficult to take care of 30 children... That is why we see lotsof children roaming about the streets begging for food and money and also doing petty stealing and later they become criminals and kidnappers ..because of lack of care from their parents...some problems in this country also caused by some people

Bros the rate of kidnapping in the SE is more. Focus on your domain before trying to remove dirt from other people's eyes. Stop turning everything into an ethnic battle

He spent 5 years in prison for kidnapping and they release him. If this is the punishment for convicted Kidnappers then kidnapping might not end. Kidnappers deserve life imprisonment
