Houseofglam7:OH BOY, I WENT TO JAMAICA a few years back and toured their various resorts - massive, beautiful beach-side hotels. ALL-INCLUSIVE deals meaning you pay for your full stay and you can eat and drink as much as you want at all the bars and restaurants of the resort... The hotels are filled with American and European tourists, and I was saying to myself that the day Nigerians discover this Caribbean region, there would be no spare room in these resorts. They would forget all this London and America and Dubai they go to on vacation. No comparison whatsoever. Absolutely spectacular. |

Won't be of any economic benefit to Nigeria. Barbados is a very expensive place to live or to visit. Ticket Won't be cheap because of the long distance. |

Barbados will come to regret this move later……… They have JUST opened the door for drug movement to the Caribbean for onward transfers to the Americas. Knowing some of our Brothers VERY WELL. They are strategizing by now. |

Very good question. I was asking myself the same thing. The flights could be once a week or so. Or even a seasonal thing. Barbados is pretty much a tourist destination. With mostly American, Canadian and British tourists visiting the place. And it’s a cruise stop for most Eastern Caribbean cruise routes. My 2 visits to the island was via a cruise stop. Using the Barbados as a stopover for the other Caribbean islands could be an option. But inter-island flights are extremely expensive in the Caribbean. Kobicove: |
