twosquare:That's because Starlink have seen their gadget become too accessible to every musa and chibuzor so they want to filter certain peeps by making it premium. They may triple charge in future. |

Abeg, anyone uses IPTV with Starlink here? Pls, what VPN do u use? I don't know if Starlink is blocking VPNs cuz when I've used Surfshark and ExpressVPN, they worked at first but failed with time. And streaming directly results to a lof of buffers |
| Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by johnnyholtby(m): 8:28pm On May 30 |
I use IPTV and you really don't need VPN (unless your provider tells you otherwise) if you have a good IPTV provider. From what you said, the issue is from your provider. Lots of logins out there that buffer with or without VPN. Nteogwuija: |

Yes I use my logins with starlink. IPTV is hit or miss (mostly miss) cos of resellers reselling already sold logins. You'd have to invest lots of time and money to get a stable login. Pro tip: always ask for a test login (if offered) before you commit to a long term subscription. I use mostly Mac logins (stalker portal) plus Tivimate pro. Mac logins tend to be more stable. Expect buffering during peak hours though. Nteogwuija: |

Nteogwuija:I torrent with tor and it seem much better than back when still using MTN and they were throttling my bandwith like madd. |
| Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by gsparks01(m): 4:04pm On Jun 01 |
Nteogwuija:By default, starlink filters content. Go to settings and select "No filtering". It should solve the issue. |

Please, for those that switched from starlink to mtn fiberx, how is the experience like? Is it way better than starlink? And also after switching, did you have to contact starlink cc to disconnect your terminal.? Because I once heard that if you just stop subscribing without informing them, the bills will keep piling up.. For context, I'm abt changing apartment, and the new apartment has fiberx installed, which means I will probably stop using starlink. |

Kaczynski:So no issue torrenting with Tor? |
| Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by senator282: 12:05pm On Jun 02 |
SolomonGrundy:Experience depends on the location you are,ask people within that location using it already to tell you about their experience. You can't compare fibre internet technology with satellite technology. Fibre is better but it depends on those running the fibre network. |

senator282:Okay. Thanks! |
| Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by default55: 7:11pm On Jun 02 |
Nteogwuija:You don't really need to use a VPN because the speed will be throttled a bit, and you might experience buffering. |
| Re: My SpaceX Starlink Internet Experience In Lagos, Nigeria by default55: 7:14pm On Jun 02 |
SolomonGrundy:Starlink will suspend your account after a period of time; you don't necessarily need to contact them. When you're ready to activate it again, you can go ahead and pay the due balance in your account. |
