Husband Of Oyo Principal, Rachael Alamu Pleads For Wife's Rescue by Prestar(op): 11:55pm On May 30

Gunmen abducted school principal Mrs. Rachael Alamu, six other teachers, and up to 39 pupils from schools in Ahoro-Esinle and Yawota areas on May 15, 2026.

Tragedy struck when teacher Joel Adesiyan was killed during the raid and Michael Oyedokun was later beheaded by kidnappers.

Mrs. Alamu has released desperate videos from captivity, pleading for negotiation after a failed rescue attempt, while Governor Makinde consoled her husband and reaffirmed ongoing operations with federal support.

Families hold onto hope as the nation prays for safe returns amid rising outrage over insecurity.

I saw a post of Sowore saying what he'd do if elected president. I saw many hateful comments mocking him so bad as if he's done anything bad. I mean, these people were telling him he'd never be president yet they support the calamity we have today!

Our security agents are the most useless in the world. Weak intelligence unit...no coordination...no solid structure... How can people get kidnapped in multitudes, and no rescue mission is ever launched unless ransom is paid?

Why is the government taking us for a ride? Can they swear that the location of these kidnappers is unknown? These are people who use cell phones effortlessly and even have a social media presence.

It's unfortunate that there is a silent war going on in Nigeria, but people don't even realise it yet. The time has come to take laws into our hands!

If this happens that the Governor own family members are the kidnapped victims that he would continue to give assurance after 18days shocked

What matters to Yoruba people is Ojedu Oba and Tinubu's relection. This issue is of no consequences to them.

I saw Seyi Tinubu in that festival and i.diots were even singing on your mandate to him, I wept for this Nation. A good avenue for them to hold him accountable for the happenings in South west and the entire Nation, they were singing praises for him.

The sowore you're talking about spoke from the angle of inexperience. He doesn't know what he's saying.

The security system in our country is so weak despite the large amount being budgeted every time. People were taken and move in that number the were not chased not shop even while they are coming in. Even in my locality, it was just few months ago someone gave them bus etc. most of the stations are just empty but in equipment and intelligent/tactical manpower
