It isn't about illiteracy, if you experience it, you would believe it is spiritual. I've personally had this experience two times. It is so real.
You really can't blame those who believe it is spiritual, the scientific explanation too is also vague and complex to the average mind.

It felt spiritual but the explanation makes sense though. But it's wasn't funny and I had to ask for forgiveness of sins thinking it was time.

Some things just cannot be explained ... and the West will never say they do not know... they always have an explanation. There are things they do figure out and explain . My question to the explanation.... if it is that one becomes conscious during sleep paralysis... but the dream continues to play out " literally "... why is it never a pleasant dream?... like never making out with the woman of your dreams? ...why is it almost always someone who been dead...or wanting to harm you when the person was not even in your dream? I experienced it twice ... within a few days. Both occasions it was the same person... an ex gf who had recently been buried and I did not go to the funeral. I found out she was into "spiritual stuff"... dropped her immediately... tried to get to me spiritually via food offering....did not eat..but said I did... and she kept sending to find out if I had eaten what she sent. Died mysteriously like two weeks later. I stayed clear. Then suddenly ...out of the blue ...." sleep paralysis" ...guess featuring who?

Chai... I experienced this very dark shadow rest on me that night as I was struggling to get myself up. I was choking and shouting and the dark shadow lifted and disappeared through the window. Very scary experience.

All these fake imported religions have destroyed the normal mental processes of a lot of our people.

If you are following any of the two religion, you should know for fact that:

How do you explain this happening to someone consecutively for 3 weeks, every day, and it happens at the same time of the night ,12 AM. Whenever it happened, I would see my room door under a lock, yet someone like a ghost would enter often in the image of a known person, and the torment would start, sometimes from that moment till morning around 5 AM. Until one night which was going to be the last time I had the experience, I cried profusely because It felt like I was going to die that night cos I was tired. Dey play. When I was still in the police, they used to post us to some judges quarters.there were two of these judges quarters most of the officers posted there used to complained they have been pressed down in the night I didn't believe untill the day I was posted to one of the quarters,I had experienced it before but that particular one was spectacular.
The second day I kept that small new testament in my breast pocket,lol the pressing was even harder than the previous day and it led to an out of body experience cos I wasn't sleeping,I just sat on a chair but I got pressed down and while struggling with myself I was able to take the Bible from my pocket I saw some ugly looking creatures standing at the door, I threatened them with the Bible and they gave me way to exit the room, I was praying fervently then I summoned courage that I would go back to that room and face these people,when I entered the room back I was shocked to see only myself, still sitting on the chair.

I then stood from the chair and begin to ask questions: but I stood from this chair and ran outside; how come I came back into this room still seeing myself sitting on this chair;if what ran outside was my spirit , when did I enter the main body back.
In the morning I narrated the part of the story to a senior colleague, he said he also had a similar experience there but in his own case when he came out(midnight) he saw the judge holding a Calabash and making some incantations. This bro told me in this police work it's either you're a fervent praying Christian or a traditional juju man, that there's no sitting on the fence.

Since I wasn't the juju type I took my prayer life more serious,I completed my one week posting there without experiencing "pressing" as we usually called it then.

hand movement at night (scratching) unconscious nail scratching on itchy part of the body is most likely the case.. shower before bed although some meds causes one to scratch itchy part of the body during sleep e.g Tramadol has that effect.

I fear no one ... especially when it comes to "spiritual warfare". I just stay clear of people who are involved with evil. I gave the back story for readers to understand why I do believe "sleep paralysis" can be spiritual as well. If you should

It is stark illiteracy and ignorance, no offense. I've experienced this mutliple times, at a point in time it became so frequent I was like wtf, did the whole ignorant bible under pillow and pray thing, it was still happening. Decided to do some research around it and with the simple research I did, like what this article highlights I, found the solution.

I was working on a serious project then that left me physically exhausted everyday. On top of the stress I was always thinking anxiously about work, so was finding it difficult to fall asleep coupled with using my phone late into the night. On top of all that even when I managed to fall asleep noise from the next compound always wakes me up in the middle of the night before I struggle to sleep again.

So I wasn't sleeping well at all and I had to wake up as early as 5. When it happened again I just waited patiently for it to pass by being calm instead of struggling. Took a break from work to rest, bought noise cancelling headphones, stopped sleeping on my back and using my phone before bed time. Then made sure I got 8hrs of sleep. This was more than 5yrs ago, till date I haven't had one experience with it.

When they say "ignorance is a disease", there's a reason why we are so backward from the rest of the world. Educate urself, it's is no way vague. Your brain never sleeps, to prevent you from acting out your dreams, it disconnects movement of the body, unfortunately sometimes you wake up before movement is connected back while you're transitioning from sleep to wake ergo sleep paralysis.

The opposite happens too when movement of the body is not disconnected. You see them talking in their sleep or walking while they're sleeping, some even go to the kitchen eat and forget they ever did. You see this in dogs a lot when theyrr dreaming and trying to run as they're asleep. People fear what they don't understand, as of today, the supernatural still has a 100% failure rate.
