Nigeria shall be 66yrs soon, within this time Presidential power have concentrated more in the Northern Region than in the South. The South shall wield Presidential power till 2031 all things been equal. However, Tinubu's maladministration and ethnocentrism is about to open a path for Atiku to disrupt this sequence of power rotation. Dear Presidential handlers, multiple Southern candidates will spell doom for Tinubu. |

| Re: Multiple Southern Candidates Will Spell Doom For Tinubu by saintopus(m): 4:30pm On May 30 |
The President does not respect the North- South thing, so if Atiku emerge as the next President it as good as everything. After all, there is no zoning in Rivers State so how will there zoning in Nigeria. If there is zoning Peter Obi should have been the right person to govern the nation since South- West and South- South have already taken their turn. |

Tinubus boys say multiple southern candidates favour tinubu, and that Gej is working indirectly for Tinubu. However, too many cooks spoil the broth. The election is clearly looking like Atikus to lose. Atiku couldnt be the only northern candidate, and as formidable as he is, not get the highest votes cast. Considering how abysmal Tinubus govt is, most northerners would queue behind Atiku, while southern votes is spread thin between Tinubu, Obi and Gej. This same scenario will repeat itself in the north central. |

Then you forget the issue of spread......tinubu will win his SW witha land slide, gej isn't running anywhere take that to the bank.....obi will have is SE with tinhbu coming second and will get his 25% there.....SS will still go to the apc as thats where the influence of money will be most pronounced and thats where tinubu will have an edge over obi and the power of incumbency......tinubu is poised to win the south and article with his structureless adc won't be able to get him anything tangible across the entire south. As for the north, atiku will getvthe NW and NE with tinubu coming 2nd again and will also certainly get his 25%,obi's reach in those 2 regions is still limited and won't be able to get his 25% across except kano and maybe jigawa due to kwakwanso......the north Central is the battle ground and all 3 candidates will share the votes but I still see the apc nicking it with states like kwara,kogi,plateau,benue.....nassarawa will be tough for apc again due to internal party issues and the strong influence of the pdp candidate and obi's strong showing, abuja too will be a battle between apc and obi.....in all apc will still carry the day and the answer is simple, atiku cant cross into the south and obi still doesn't have that reach in the core north but apc is the only party with structures across all the states and that will be a huge factor, wherever they loose they will certainly cone second. |

If you don't get it yet, you are never getting it, Tinubu should have carried South East along since 2023, I'm not talking about the political elites who are just psychophants, if Obi is on the ballot again, Tinubu is out of Aso Rock, this is because, Obi and Tinubu will share Southern Votes, with Atiku' getting bulk Northern Votes because of sentiments and hardship in the country, The election may go to run-off which will be bad news for Tinubu', because the man with majority votes in the first round won't get the spread while the man with the spread won't get the majority votes, hence a run-off between Tinubu and Atiku, your guess is as good as mine, Tinubu can never beat Atiku' in a simple majority vote simply because of sentiments Lithiumite: |
| Re: Multiple Southern Candidates Will Spell Doom For Tinubu by Ofunaofu: 6:22pm On May 30 |
Actually Some Tinubu supporters argue that every southern presidential candidates Peter Obi, Goodluck Jonathan, Seyi Makinde, Sandy Onoh, and others, is ultimately working for Tinubu to reduce and split the southern votes |
| Re: Multiple Southern Candidates Will Spell Doom For Tinubu by Lithiumite: 6:26pm On May 30 |
SadiqBabaSani:Lets even agree without conceding, If that's your plan then that will be a real catastrophic strategy poised to fail......no matter how much the igbo may seem to hate tinubu, there is no way atiku a northerner will gain prominence, how will you convince the Ijaw man,the urhobo, the esan or ogoni or ibibio to vote another northerner just 4 years after buhari. Forget all the online noise or current angst of the populace the apc has its structures and that will be decisive, patronage isba big element in nigerian politics, atiku has been hollowed out,he iant as formidable as he was in 23 and the coalition was his only hope which as failed.....lack of structure will also be his banana peel even in his north.......there won't be any run off and all the mathematical calculations favour the apc,the party is still very strong in the north and adc isn't pdp.....but atiku strength in the north cannot be over emphasised but in presidential elections popularity isn't enough to get you through, atikubis already lacking what obi lacked in 23. |
| Re: Multiple Southern Candidates Will Spell Doom For Tinubu by jchioma: 10:24pm On May 30 |
Svoboda:Exactly! Though you forgot to include Makinde. The South is choking already. I think the election might go Atiku’s way or a runoff might just determine his eventual winner. |
| Re: Multiple Southern Candidates Will Spell Doom For Tinubu by Svoboda(m): 10:56pm On May 30 |
jchioma:I think the constitution stipulates highest votes v highest spread for a run off. If it comes to that, Tinubu will begin preparing his handover notes. |
| Re: Multiple Southern Candidates Will Spell Doom For Tinubu by Svoboda(m): 11:40pm On May 30 |
jchioma:Very true. Makinde will bite off some of Tinubus votes mainly in Oyo and parts of Osun and Ogun. A run off puts Tinubu at a disadvantage. This is because he has no further incentive to offer any southern candidate since they'd have to wait 12 years rather than 8 to get another shot at the presidency. |
| Re: Multiple Southern Candidates Will Spell Doom For Tinubu by Streetinvestor2: 11:44pm On May 30 |
Lithiumite:The SE which I happen to be one will vote Atiku over SW president You think we are stupid and don't know why SW president put Kanu in prison And we don't know what igbos properties are being reduced to since 2023 The SE has no reason to vote this Yoruba president because he doesn't represent south since he became president. Obi or Atiku winning will solve those problems for SE |

This election is between makinde, obi and Tinubu. |
| Re: Multiple Southern Candidates Will Spell Doom For Tinubu by Macphenson: 1:56pm On May 31 |
I once said this same thing on this forum but some data boys were ranting. The thing is, I even heard it from top APC men in a meeting they held in IKOYI. I was shocked when they even affirmed what I already calculated. There's a reason why Tinubu rescheduled his travelling itinary the day he heard Peter Obi decamped to NDC. |

Streetinvestor2:I'm a big time businessman here in Ozubulu. The South Easterners I know aren't Barbarians so nothing. I mean absolutely nothing would happen if I campaigned publicly yesterday. You too small. |
| Re: Multiple Southern Candidates Will Spell Doom For Tinubu by Lithiumite: 8:25pm On May 31 |
Streetinvestor2:But obi's board can be in the SW and obi's supporters should be allowed to campaign anywhere in SW ,are you hearing yourself? |
| Re: Multiple Southern Candidates Will Spell Doom For Tinubu by Whynotthetruth(m): 8:54pm On May 31 |
Tjra:They're NOT barbarians... fact But if you dared campaign for APC yesterday? Oga, quit the bragging, the answer is known to You already if actually you are in Ozubulu.... |
| Re: Multiple Southern Candidates Will Spell Doom For Tinubu by lawani(m): 11:10pm On May 31 |
Whynotthetruth:What offense in actual fact did the Tinubu commit such that nobody must campaign for him in the East? Kanu just like Adeyinka Grandson or Simon Ekpa was headed to prison already and Kanu moreso. He would have been jailed in Britain eventually Is winning an election an offense? Being a Yoruba is an offense? You don't need to vote for him of course, vote who you want but taking things to the extreme is not appropriate too. If you didn't complain when Jonathan was giving five percent of appointments to Yoruba people you shouldn't complain if the SW is getting 30 percent of appointments while paying forty percent of the taxes because that would be hypocritical |
