This has been my question since, I kept asking myself. If you ask me what Nigeria really need now, is to have peace, I would say it begins when we stop waiting for "them" and start looking at what "we" can do.
It's easy to blame politicians, and many of them deserve criticism. But peace is not built only in government offices in Abuja. It is built in our homes, churches, mosques, schools, markets, offices, and on social media.
When we choose honesty instead of cutting corners, peace grows.
When we refuse to spread rumours or fake news because it favours our tribe, religion, or political party, peace grows.
When a Christian respects a Muslim neighbour and a Muslim respects a Christian neighbour, peace grows.
When leaders put service above personal gain, peace grows.
When young people have jobs and hope for the future, peace grows.
One thing I have noticed about Nigerians is that, despite our challenges, we are naturally warm-hearted people. A traveller can arrive in a strange town and still find someone willing to help. We laugh together, celebrate together, and often stand together in difficult times. That spirit is one of our greatest strengths.
The truth is that peace is not merely the absence of war. Peace is when a father can provide for his family with dignity. It is when a young graduate believes hard work will be rewarded. It is when people can worship freely without fear. It is when justice is available to both the rich and the poor.
As people of faith, we should also pray for Nigeria. But prayer should move us to action. A person cannot pray for peace in the morning and then sow hatred in the afternoon.
Nigeria may have many problems, but she is still a nation blessed with resilient people, rich cultures, and enormous potential. If more Nigerians choose integrity over corruption, unity over division, and service over selfishness, the Nigeria we dream about will gradually become the Nigeria we live in.
Peace begins with one person, then a family, then a community, and eventually a nation. The question is not only, "How can Nigeria have peace?" but also, "What can I do today to make Nigeria a little more peaceful than it was yesterday?" 🇳🇬❤️

It's so unfortunate we have so many low set of people in Nigeria who can't engage maturely

In Nigeria, there can never be peace.

The citizens can and will never come today under one voice.

Tribalism has germinated into a big tree with fruits, and it's so strong it can never be cut down.

Government, including opposition and Muslims should stop encouraging Islamic terrorists both actively and passively.

First thing first

Government should ban religion, expecially those using loud speaker to disturb the neighbourhood, those ones that block the road to pray, anything religion should be under control.

Secondly,,,, state of origin should be abolished.

If both up there isn't possible then Government should brake Nigeria into 4 or 5 pieces.

Aside that? Nothing will work, if you like bring Moses in the bible

Nigeria ousted Igbos from power in 1966 when the country was at its peak and was rated above Singapore, Malaysia, giant of Africa nickname that period etc owing to massive contribution of the Igbos ( BBC England have tons of this information freely available in their archives) since they ousted Igbos and eventual pogrom that followed with connivance of Britain, the country have been on downward spiral into abyss and haven’t been able to progress without the Igbos for 60 years
