Pros and Cons
Pros - * It's expandable (you can add external battery to increase capacity.
* It's DIY capable, as you can open it up with ease to make modifications.

Cons - * Too expensive compared to same capacity in the market
* Slow charging, max charging via AC or DC is about 22a - 25a.
* Still using lead acid battery chemistry.

As stated by Penuelseun, there are better options in the market, so do your due diligence.

NB: I do not own a unit, deductions made above were from their data sheets, please search for the data sheet to be sure. Cheers

Does the charger change from green to red when you plug it in to the mains?

Yes, it brings on light.

However the main way I check is through charge controller.

It doesn't bring light at all on the charge controller when immediately removed from NEPA light.
